He is 18 and only started playing ball recently. He would be a nice investment similar to when Stone traded for Adams even if he was injured for the season.
You still havent explained how Sheppard having a solid career means no one is better after him in the draft. Its one thing to say Reed will have a solid career its another to sayh he is BPA at 3 considering the rookie season he just had. Compare him to say Jared Mcain you really think Reed will go before Mcain in a redraft? What about Jaylen Wells? Grizzlies have a stacked team Wells earned his mins unlike Reed who has played bad except for a handful of games? Reed hasnt even appeared in the rookie ranking all season but you havent seen any rookie better than him? LOL wtf Reed is Kobe? How about a tip jar bet then I bet people wont think Reed is Kobe after next year. Deal?
That's worse case scenario to me if you make a good pick. If the Rockets draft a big I think it will be easier for them to get minutes. The only true PF on the team is Bari. If we take someone like Queen I think he can break into the lineup in year 1 or 2.
Suns may shut down Booker after tonight, KD is already injured and his trade value may be slightly less due to the injury. They can not risk Booker even turning an ankle at this point.
I would agree with this, but I'm still high on him because he's only 18 years old. In 2-3 years this dude could be a beast defensively. And he could probably do a good job guarding Wemby as well.
Maluach is big boned. You actually like that he wont be a pogo stick he will be a thick dude when he fills out. I remember whe Joakim Noah got drafted by Thibs it was a match made in heaven. If Ime gets Maluach it will be the same thing, and whats terrifying is we still have Amen and Tari on the perimeter.
Holy hell you’re dense and obtuse. I never said he is like Kobe in that regard. I also didn’t say I didn’t see a rookie play better than him this season. I’m wasting my time having a conversation with you. You just say sh*t that makes zero sense. Stick around next year I’ll tag you. Likely for years to come as well concerning Reed.
The Suns play OKC tomorrow, with both teams on a back-to-back. Hopefully OKC doesn't rest their starters. We still have a chance at the #9 pick.
We’re (Suns) at 9th pick on Tankathon with 14% on getting top 4 picks now! More like Derik Queen at 9th pick or lucky top 4
Making playoffs and getting a lottery pick while doing so is the best of both worlds. Stone lookin like a mad genius
I'm happy. The Phoenix Suns have been officially eliminated from the playoffs. I didn't think a KD, Booker led team would be that bad.
At this point I think the value of their pick this year with a fairly decent draft is enough to hold off on making a trade with Phoenix. Yes I would still trade for Booker but not by giving up the kitchen sink, and I am concerned about his contract longterm. In a couple of years Jalen could be considered the better player even though I get it as Rockets fans… he’s frustrating right now. In a couple of years though, I wouldn’t be shocked if Jalen is widely considered better and I’m certain we’d be moving him in a Booker deal and giving up these Phoenix picks. Adding another top 10 talent this summer sounds amazing. Especially since we can see FVV clearly declining. Jeff Green retiring. Steven Adam’s maybe leaving or staying and getting older, and maybe losing bench depth. There might be more room to add talent than you think.
