Well, you left off the '83 Cougars. But among the choices you listed, there's really only one correct response: the 2019 Astros: - they win game 6 or 7, and it's a ring (same as '83 Coogs). These other losses would still need more wins to make it matter. - I'm pretty sure the 2019 Astros is the best team of my entire Houston fandom. They were stacked with everyone firmly in their prime. They were so good, I'd offer they've warped our expectations, expecting line-ups to be filled 1-9 with All-Stars and a rotation stuffed with perennial CY winners. - they had just eviscerated Washington, 19-3, in the previous three games and looked absolutely unbeatable and headed home, where they were 60-21 in the regular season and 5-1 in the postseason. The 2019 Astros not winning STILL haunts me and remains the greatest WTF on my lifetime.
It's ONE off-topic thread that is both sports-related and about our hometown Cougars performance in the NATIONAL TITLE GAME. I think some of you are waaaaay overreacting.
