In a real world, the guy who posted that, and everyone he's been in contact with, would be getting cornholed by the SEC and other regulatory authorities as we speak.

    I'm guessing that's not happening.

The end game isn't bitcoin. Less than 1% of bitcoin holders have the overwhelming supply of btc. If you think the dollar is easy to manipulative wait till you see bitcoin. Please be serious

I don’t know what is going on at this point. I didn’t want to post this tweet because of the headline and I don’t think it’s blackmail. It’s just ridiculous.

from a reading of above 60 2 trading days ago, the VIX is now reading ~~ 37.7, and dropping, as the trade war appears to be in the negotiating phase

Did we bottom? Now that the endgame of making deals is no longer obfuscated…there will be deals and all is better.

the reciprocal tariffs are negotiable. The base tariff is probably permanent and non-negotiable. The next bottom would likely be if a recession. If they make deals in the short term, then maybe it can be avoided more easily.

    just my 2 cents.

    trading volume has been high the past 3 trading days, during this VIX decline from 60 to the current 37;
from this, one can infer that many weak hands have been flushed out.

waiting for institution buyers to take the lead with large volume purchases. as well as the VIX dropping some more, to the low 30s

It does not feel like we have bottomed....I actually think a day like today actually encourages the administration to take a harder line - i.e, to whatever this was about tariffs, it becomes even moreso about the trade balance.

I bought on Friday and exited stuff today as the China/Vietnam part will weigh a lot on the economics of S&P 500 companies.

Predict it recovers if and when Congress grows a pair and reclaims some of its constitutional power re: trade policy.

He will veto any bill, so it will take a lot of pairs to be grown....

I bought some VOO on that dip. Not a lot.

any time we test new lows this far down…I’m buying some ETF.

This is going to resolve in the medium term if not sooner. Else, the golden age is going to be the golden shower.

Not exactly Stocks - Equities, but still an example of the current philosophy about protecting consumers - investors.

DOJ ends crypto enforcement team, shifts focus to terrorism and fraud

The U.S. Justice Department abruptly shut down its National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team, signaling a major shift in how the federal government will handle crypto-related crimes going forward, according to a memo sent Monday night by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.

In it, Blanche outlines a decentralized approach in which U.S. attorney’s offices will now take the lead on digital asset cases, focusing primarily on crimes involving terrorism.

Going forward, the document said efforts would now focus on “prosecuting individuals who victimize digital asset investors, or those who use digital assets in furtherance of criminal offenses such as terrorism, narcotics and human trafficking, organized crime, hacking, and cartel and gang financing.”...

I didn't know Bessent worked with Soros when they broke the Bank of England. Seems like the sequel is setting up here with the People's Bank of China.
