Walking the 7th and 8th hitters to lead off an inning after finally taking the lead…deserve to lose Better not see Scott with a lead again anytime soon.
Shocked he went with Taylor Scott. That guy had one random good 3/4 of a season. Career journeyman otherwise. Nice job Joe
Hoe-sí hit another Homer. I'm leaving with something. Scott is good for the 6th inning but with Hader pitching 2 innings, I see what he was trying to do. Don't like it but I understand it.
There is another great point. You know you're limited in the pen, Wesneski made one bad pitch all night. Espada is a loser. He's sinking this ship, and fast.
This game is as much on Brown as it is Espada. No way in hell this is the bullpen we went into the season with.
Losing sucks, but it's nice we showed a pulse by taking the lead after being down. Scott's magic from last season has faded -- and it already began toward the end of last year. Two damn leadoff runners... smh. Tall task for Abreu to extinguish. With so many struggling players on offense, there's no excuse for Chas not playing every day considering his OPS is triple/quadruple of any OF not named Altuve. Plus, he has the best overall track record of any option. My confidence level in Espada is a 2 on a 10-scale. Hader got a day off after 2 innings on Sunday, so at least there's that.
