I’m still traumatized from 2018 WCF game 7, and it became apparent mid-3rd at the latest that we wouldn’t be able to overcome the rigging I couldn’t imaging losing a finals game 7 like this…might fck around and have a psychotic break
Obviously a tough loss and no one wants the moral victory, but this is a team without an NBA player on it and it went further than any of our other teams in the last 30 years. It’s tough to know if we’ll ever get a better chance than we had tonight, but we got arguably 3 nba talents to add next year.
No no get it right. Astros made rangers fans cry after game 5 and then proceeded to lose game 6 AND game 7, getting destroyed in game 7 on 12 adolis Garcia grand slams, also become just the second team to lose all 4 home games in a playoff series, the first of which was of course, the astros, in the 2019 WS, where they pulled off the same feat! they get a pass though bc 2 titles were still very incredible.
When the Rockets lost game 7 to the Warriors, I didn't watch another NBA game or read anything about the NBA until the following January. That was far and away the biggest sports gut-punch I've ever felt.
Jwan an all time coog. Cryer has been one of the best transfers we've ever had. Ja'vier has been reliable as hell. Mylik goated as well. Ramon Walker was an awesome culture guy. Gonna miss this team. I hope everyone that can comes back. Wouldnt blame anyone for chasing the nba or the money tho.
It sucked but probably doesn’t even crack the top 5. Hell the Stros alone probably have 5 losses worse than that
Yeah it doesn’t bother me as much because college basketball changes every season and the players move around a lot. Hell losing against Golden State in game 6 and 7 hurt more. It hurt when Paul went down
I would had rather lose by 20 than on an incredibly bugled bone headed play. I still don’t know what actually happened.
what happened is he had time to pump fake, but didn’t, and then left the ball alone bc he couldn’t touch it. It would have been better to grab it then let the clock run out like that
The game wasn't stolen but all of the momentum was when the officials completely changed the way they were calling the game from one half to the next. Houston couldn't overcome that. Florida deserved to win, but there's no doubt that the officiating played a role. I just hate that. It's probably the single worst thing about basketball on all levels.
That Final 4 felt like it was written by ****ing Shakespeare. Heartbreak for everyone and the team that won everyone on it played bad but they somehow won it.
Along with Webber's TO, I'm trying hard to think of another worst total cluster**** to end a title game, ever
