The magic no is 3 so we only need 1 more to lock up the 2nd seed.

What do you think of giving up the games after we lock the 2nd seed? Rox prevent chance of injury from key players and Cam and Reed can get a lot of run against some good teams.

Win 1 more time or if the Lakers lose tomorrow, then start resting players for the playoffs

Not sit out games total rest. We need to stay sharp. We could play our main guys 20-25m a night though. Fun fact, FVV had the most minutes in our win last night at 36.

Yes that's correct. Play the starters sub 25min each.

i think ime will play him in teh first qtr just to keep the streak, but Jalen needs rest more than anyone.

while everyone was hating Jalen green, he has been the most reliable player showing up to play everyday.

He’s playing his best ball of his career. I would still want him playing competitive ball. Maybe try to cap his minutes at 30. They’re just starting to look smooth in that double big lineup zone. Plus we’re finishing the season against teams we can practically play again inthe 1st round. Don’t give them any extra confidence.

I still want the 4th best record. I have no problem with Ime resting some guys, but don't pull too many starters til that's clinched. I know it's presumptuous, but if the Rockets do make the Finals and face the Knicks, it would be nice to have home court.

I'm hearing JonJon Tugster has replaced him as Consensus #1, so we may still be able to get Cop.

Yeah. He really responds to rest …

But don’t forget, Nowadays, Top 6 seeds get 6-7 nights of rest waiting for play-in to finish. And if sit players in last game, they get 8-9 nights rest.

    that’s more than ASB

They are gonna have like a week's rest waiting for play-in. If resting makes them less sharp they will be dull AF even if you play them 42 mins the last 3 games.

The rest is just to prevent the key guys from playing hard and getting injured like stepping on a dude's foot or tearing their acl or w/e and to give experience to Reed, Cam and Jeenathan. Maybe get some suitors for Tate and Jock etc. Personally I would rest all the starters or just play them 5-10 mins or w/e once we lock up 2nd seed.

Also Rox play well coming from rest. I think its because they get practice in and being young they need coaching from Ime and watching tape. Also because FVV is washed and gets played the most I think rest helps his shot become respectable.

Rox are 11-2 coming of 2 days of rest
Rox are 17-12 with 1 rest day
    Rox are 7-10 on B2B

Teams like the Suns who are still trying to play for the play-in even after losing KD deserve respect. Suns should be rewarded instead of those deliberately tanking teams. I say the No. 1 pick should be given to them.

I think we should keep momentum going into the playoffs. These guys are still young and I know Ime doesn't want them to start feeling like complacent. We will most likely have a tough first round opponent : timberwolves, warriors, nuggets or clippers
