Most clutch stuff is extremely small sample and just random variance. I wouldn’t read into it beyond that. Unless you have a peak jokic or lebron or jordan it’s mostly noise.

the turd posters with an agenda to push always like to mention that they try to hide Sengun by making him a help defender. And I say that is called strategy. Ime always mentions we don't do 1 on 1 defense here. It's wise. And you have to have high IQ to master the spacing and anticipation on the defensive end. Which I expect to continue to grow with even more experience for Alpi. The Zone is still a work in progress.

When he does get "hunted" on the PnR, it's almost like these dudes never watched an NBA game post Jazz 2007. Bigs get destroyed. It's how we take advantage of teams. It's why Ime wants Green to make the 'pocket pass'.
Defensive FG% for Sengun on the PnR handler and PnR roller: 45% and 40%

In comparisons to some of the others people drool for Zubac: , 60%
    Hartenstein: 62%
Jalen Duren: 70% (if you go to the Reddit Detroit forums you'll see the same type of turds complaining.)
Goebert: 65%, which is why he only plays 20 minutes against us lol
Claxton, Jokic and Kessler all at 57%

Teams that go 20 moving screens per trip like the Warriors, yeah that has and will be a concern from when Kerr took over until 2044 when he retires from coaching.

the defense Thing is like saying ime uses pnr to help guards on offense as if it is a negative for the guard.

I think whatever amount of umph Sengun thinks he needs to put into his fadeaway flamingo, he should add extra. He is short on like 90% of them.

Once again, Alperen Sengun was Draymond Green’s papa/daddy/father-figure/older lover/etc.

And people have the audacity to argue that the elbow wasn’t an offensive foul.

I don’t think anybody on the Warriors, not even Looney, can hold him down. I do wish he’d attack strong a bit more and stop relying on his fadeaway so much tho

He doesn’t even need to pay himself! I bet there are tons of people or companies that would love to provide everything for free. The richer you get, the more free stuff you get :p

If he can get into Draymond's head, he's ready for the playoffs

I was impressed with his toughness but..

5/10 in FTs, the best way to punish Draymond was to convert those free throws..

also his shots were not falling. I agree with many here, he may not need a reliable 3pt shot but he SHOULD at least be 50% within 15 feet of the basket

It's kinda crazy how good he is with how inefficient he is, and makes you wonder how good he can actually be if he can learn how to score efficiently. But then again most guys don't just learn how to be efficient scorers. Westbrook probably would've won like 5+ rings and been in goat conversations if he could just "learn how to score efficiently." It's a big ask. Year 2 and 3 Sengun give me hope though.

He doesn't need to learn, he did it last season and the season before that. No idea what happened to his shooting touch, hopefully he finds it again.

It's not his touch as much as his shot selection I think. It's still pure murder when he gets in close and starts whirling around, it's the increased volume in the mid-range and he's still just not as cemented out there. I think we've probably got 2-3 more years of streakiness from the mid-range and deep and then it's just game over for everybody because he'll be entering his prime. That's the crazy ****, he's MILES away from his prime, and he's already really, really good.
