Bullshit it's not hurting you. I don't believe you one bit. Universal tariffs went into place today. Every single import is going to cost more money. T-shirts, groceries, houses, cars , literally EVERYTHING.

They don't get 8 months severance... They just get fired. And not for being had at their jobs or for not responding to and email.

Selling government buildings not being used does make sense, but you can also expect everyone to come back into the office while also selling the office.

I don't have a link but I was listening to a podcast when the cuts first started happening and employees were allowed to retire with 8 months severance. Anyways the govt is bloated and broke. If cuts can be made with no severance I'm on board with this.

You won't need as many offices because there won't be as many employees. This isn't that difficult.

Drive down values, to where the only people with money that can afford things is the billionaires, who buy things up cheap on the crash, and then enrich themselves in the recovery.

    That is the game plan.

That was the voluntary resignation program, which is still up in the air because they had no actual plan for it. I have a couple of clients that took it. One has received approval of their resignation, but still being asked to work. The other has not heard anything back.

Before they even know what they will and won't need via office space. It once again, has been a disaster, because they didn't develop a process for it. I have a client who once told to go back to work, showed up to sharing a desk with 3 other people, when all 4 needed a desk at the same time. Freaking idiots.

We should shrink the size of the federal government. I'm not even mad we've essentially shuttered USAID because while much of the work is worthwhile, the funding should come via charitable organizations, not our Federal government. The focus should be on contractors more than anybody. Instead we give a big new contract to Boeing, who never stays on budget or within timelines. We should fire employees that perform poorly at their jobs, and look to ways to increase retention of those who are good at their jobs.

Cutting govt waste and fraud is long overdue and to say otherwise is being dishonest. BTW, you may have explained your thoughts to others, but you haven't explained those thoughts to me.

When you're doing things like they're currently doing (Cutting costs) there are going to be issues. I consider these to be minor issues.

Agreed on the last paragraph, they needed to cut the slush fund known as USAID. Also they need to cut Boeing's funding. Over cost, performance. Those astronauts stuck on the space station embodies what Boeing is today. (Embarrassment) Of course if they did this and gave the money to the most successful company in space flight the libs would be all up in arms and making all kinds of accusations.

You literally just admitted that you don't give a crap about anyone but yourself. What's the point of debating if that's the bar.

Elected to do? When he was running he told the American people that he didn't know what Project 2025 was, that he hadn't read it, and that he had nothing to do with it.

What he promised was to bring down the price of ALL goods, including groceries, on day one, to reduce the cost of energy by half, and to stop the war in Ukraine and bring peace to the Middle East. How's that going?

@HP3 this is why 99% of right wingers are just brainwashed sheep. They have no idea what's true or what's false. They hear some right wing podcasts and without any facts or evidence they blindly believe it like the good sheep they are.

Podcasting has sincerely broken peoples brains in pieces.

Theres no point. Its just the perfect symbolism of America.

**** you and everyone else cuz I'm sitting fine. Sincerely some of the most selfish human beings anywhere in the world are Americans

Prices have come down, I never saw where he said he was going to reduce energy costs by half. I did see where he said he thought he could get gas prices down to $2.00 a galllon and I wouldn't bagainst this once he starts to drill baby drill. I do expect those wars to end soon, but these are complicated negotiations. I take hop from the fact that Nettenyahu is coming to the White House this week. If I was in Trump's shoes I would let the Israeli's destroy Hamas even if it cost hostages their lives. Think of how many lives have been lost because they've tried to save the hostages lives. Putin/Zelensky, what a mess Biden made, Zelensky doesn't want to give up power and Putin wants to control the region. Right now I hope they're just deciding how much land the Ukraine is going to give up. Hopefully an agreement happens soon, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I would say Trump's accomplished quite a bit in the 10 weeks he's been in office. He's done more in 10 weeks than Biden did in 4 years. Did you hold Biden to the same standards?

I didn't say any of that. I'm certainly not rooting for anyone to lose their retirement, home, ect...I just stated that the economy isn't hurting myself.

The alternative to Trump was Harris as I've stated. No way I wanted that.

If groceries continue to get more expensive we'll have to deal with it. There's nothing that you can do. I don't know what else to say

No one likes waste, fraud or abuse. But by what metrics are you saying was this long overdue? And on whose word are you relying on, that these cuts are actually being made properly? If you're answer is simply "DOGE said so" we cant talk.

Also why are you not worried about the economy or social security? Most econmoists and metrics show us as doing very poorly, and officals from inside SS are saying its falling into and I quote a "death spiral."
