I think it's funny how you make a statement "10 times out of 10" you pick Harden. That is YOUR alternate universe and doesn't reflect reality.

When I say reality, I mean what actually happened in real life. Harden wasn't picked.

But you seem to be comparing Harden v2025. That is revisionist history. Harden has rebooted his career, to his credit.

But rewind to 2023, Harden was a cancer on 3 teams, was on the downstroke of his career, and wanted a long term max contract. Why would you introduce a cancer into a young team?

 

Harden was coming off a 21/11/6 season in 2023, let's not act like he wasn't producing coming into that off-season.

James looks the healthiest he has in years currently, because of his work ethic, something that has constantly been undermined by the media. Being that Harden spent the bulk of his career in Houston, the Rockets theoretically should have been one team to recognize that and understand his worth.

 

This is extremely low ball IQ analysis.... Harden has no rings... He also has only lost once to a team he wasn't expected to lose to in a series... In his tenure he always had a costar who was injury prone, hobbled, or unavailable in the postseason when needed most.... Even the best elite superstars in the game need that costar to win a ship in this league.
Harden has the worst costar injury luck in NBA history.

 

This is extremely idiotic.... Harden would be holding one too if he faced that same Warriors team in the offs... That was decimated by injury... Harden was averaging an efficient 35ppg against a tougher version of those Warriors.

 

“Expected to lose” is a weak excuse. At the end of the day you win despite any one else’s expectations. Who was hobbled in 2019? This invalidates your dumbass argument of “always had a costar who was injury prone” How did Harden perform against lakers in 2020? What about 2017 against the Spurs? I don't play the what if game, Harden choked against SA too.... Was that SA team the most incredible team of all time? Your arguments are old and Harden himself has debunked every excuse by always getting bounced..... Real talk, FVV had some insane clutch moments for Toronto... No what ifs.... Harden could have won a bunch of titles too IF he played for The Warriors, The Raptors, The Celtics but he didn't because he failed the teams he did play for....

 

no doubt about that. Seems like even when he drops 35 its KPJ like 35 points in a losing effort. Doesn’t affect winning. Some of those playoff games he jacked up 17 threes. Im most critical on him in those must win situations. That Spurs series in 2017 was pathetic. So was lakers in 2020.

 

Harden had so many pathetic showings and not just here, once he left the trend continued. Harden fans think he played the 2017 Warriors every single season since he came into the league and use that as an excuse.

 

I mean from 2014-2019, Harden literally played the Warriors in the playoffs 4 out of the those 5 years...

yes FVV is playing like trash, but he atleast plays in the system and doesn’t just dribble dribble dribble or stand in a corner when the ball isn’t in his hands
