Some great coaching by Ime. Glad he benched Tari in the 4th quarter. He just didn’t have it after the first quarter and when he was in the game the lead would shrink.

 

I was saying that Caruso's contract will look like a bargain by the time its expiration looms. Every top player will probably be making 60, 70+ mil/yr on extensions by then.

On defense Caruso is at least one level above anyone else on the thunder except mayyybe Chet. He can guard anyone except the strongest bigs.

And why are you using single game stats/results as your argument? Then mention ppg for a player like Caruso?

If his defense against us didn't impress you (it looked good to me), check nbarapm.com for his stats. He has been one of the best defenders in the whole NBA for the past 5+ years.

OKC losing last night and their having more than one DPOY-level players aren't mutually exclusive. Use bigger sample sizes, otherwise Udoka should immediately take Brooks out of the starting lineup considering how good we looked against OKC.

Caruso is 6.8 ppg, 35% from 3
Dillon Brooks is 14 ppg, 39% from 3

They are making the same salary. If OKC has multiple DPOY players how did they even lose a game? They already have an MVP in SGA and both Chet and JDub are superstars. So if they also have multiple DPOYs like you are claiming they should be 82-0.

I think Caruso is overrated, he is a great defender but not enough to get paid 20M a year thats just over payment and other guys like Kenrich Williams and Aaron Wiggins will also want 20M a year. Rockets have had Trevor Ariza and PJ Tucker, we know what DPOY players look like. You dont overpay a guy just based on his defense even PJ Tucker never got more than 12 a year.

But I guess this is par for the course for OKC they have 3 superstars and a bunch of overpaid role players. Hartenstein making 30M a year while averaging 11/10 is just criminal. You realize Jalen is only making 33M and Sengun is only making 38M? OKC is paying Hartenstein what we are paying for Jalen and Sengun lol

 

the fact you've seen already Jalen almost as much as you've seen Harden live is a travesty... I've only seen Harden win live.
I'm 3-2 seeing Jalen live.

this was All Star Sengun who was aggressive, confident, focused, definite in his decisions and made the easy ones because of it.
unfortunately he doesn't always get here with his play. if he doesnt want to look soft in front his parents, they need a permanent seat on the baseline.

Aggressive Sengun is really scary and hope he gets consistent with his aggressiveness. We need that.

 

My point was that Dillon would be out there instead of Tate, who is a better shooter than Tate. Not sure I follow you.
