Duke got most of the calls in this game - as to be expected. UH got a massive call on the foul by Flagg - but next time down court Flagg committed an offensive foul and no call. Whatever - UH won.
Yeah, upon further, multiple, reviews (the last 8 minutes of this game have been playing on repeat a few times now), the over-the-back on Flagg that led to Roberts's FTs was a total candyass foul
After 75% of the rando loose balls and such went against UH for most of the game I had assumed the basketball gods already determined it.
So yea, it happened again. With 10 minutes to go and things looking hella bleak, i went into my bedroom and pulled out my headphones and let the Vengaboys do the rest. no panic. no nothing. I just did what i had to do for the team. Wow. ****kk. Im him.
It was a huge break for UH because Roberts hit the FT’s. Still - overall Duke benefited from far more calls than UH. Didn’t surprise me as Duke is a premier program and had the bigger name players. Regardless- I don’t think the referees took the game from Duke. Duke built a 14 point lead with 10-11 minutes left - but were exhausted and physically beaten up…. It was a race against the clock after that point. I am sure that there will be claims Duke choked- I don’t think they did. I think it was a number of things that caused Duke to lose.
its expected the refs will take care of Duke they are the college basketball version of the Lakers when it comes to being taken care of
It's crazy that I see people are trying to put this on Flagg. Anybody who watched that game could see he was clearly the best player on the floor..and he did it as a high school senior. The coogs just had more dogs in this game. The rest of the Duke players didn't have the gears to stay with them the last 10 minutes.
