Duke should have buried Houston and put them away in the first half, but they didn't. You can't let Houston hang around, and now Duke will always know why. Nice to finally get some delayed payback against the state of North Carolina.

Coach is the classic classy guy in his post game interview on the court. Brings up God, his player’s hard work ethic, belief in one’s team and the system. Then thanks the other teams within the conference because of their standard of play. Never about self, but his fingerprints are everywhere and the success is clearly his. I want to be like him in key moments in life.

 

It was the last 11minutes of the game. Duke wasn’t quite as physical, and UH fed off that and once it became clear that Duke wasn’t going to hit another gear - UH just methodically pushed them in a race against the clock…. Duke game up 25 points in 10 minutes to UH and couldn’t score themselves… 25-7 for UH the last 10 minutes… and had the game gone another 5 minutes there is a good chance UH would have won by 5 or more because Duke was exhausted.
