Definitely playing with a lot more confidence

 

Toyota Center always looks like that. There’s been plenty games where I had damn near the whole row to myself

I really hope the fans bring the energy for our 1st playoff game in 6 years and it’s not empty and dead at tip-off with weak energy throughout most of the game…too many fans at TC are the type to be at the party in the corner glued to their phone

 

Bari can be so much more than Rashard Lewis. Bari has all the tools to be a #1 option, Im serious. He wont be that here, im just saying.

 

Rockets outshot OKC by a good margin while also winning the O-rebound and TO differentials. It's impossible to lose a game when that happens.

Both Jalen and Alpi played like alphas on offense and wreaked havoc on the best defense in the NBA. Whenever there was a favorable matchup, neither guy hesitated. This instant aggression is the progress we've all been waiting for. We can't ask for more than this.

Except for TOs, Amen was spectacular. 2/2 from long range with one a straightaway from the top. His floor vision has always been there but when he gets into the lane, he makes the right read. He must be allowed to continue doing this for the Rockets to succeed.

Jabari and Steven Adams dominated the boards on both ends in an impressive display of brute force and effort.

Fred was selective with his shots, which is a good thing. Tate was a nice boost.

Tari definitely didn't play his best half.

Basically in the 1st half, Udoka kept his 8-man rotation and just substituted Tate for DB (with fewer minutes).

OKC reminds me of the old Spurs teams where whenever they trailed by doubled digits, you always knew the run was coming. Let's see how the Rockets react when OKC cuts the lead under 10. If SGA and J-Dub don't get some help, maybe (just maybe) the Rockets can pull away in the 3rd quarter.

 

I like that the players on the floor are not looking happy or celebrating. They looked locked in.

It always takes Houston fans awhile to catch up to the Rockets or Astros actually being good. Definition of "fair weather fans" for anything that's not football.

 

And then tries to be overly aggressive to show up his Canadian teammate and ends up hurting the team. I was actually ok with him missing this game tonight.

Starting with the Double Big and Amen at the SF didnt get the Rockets in the hole gotta be the biggest thing i have seen from Ime. i know he was forced to do it, but still.

 

First play for OKC is a phantom foul and then they ignore the offensive basket interference
