If he can get a constitutiional convention and repeal the 22nd ammendment, sure. That seems like too much work and adherence to procedure for him. I would imagine he would try something sketchy and dubiously legal, which would elicit an extreme reaction from me.

2 Terms is ENOUGH and while we're at it there should be term limits for members of Congress. Now for the question if trump will do as he is hinting (or joking, I can't tell these days) and run for a third term whether its by trying to change the Constitution or as some have said Vance or someone else can run and have him as the VP and then the Prez would step down and trump would ascend is maybe the craziest theory BUT I have learned to never discount these little "jabs" as he is trying to read the room before saying he is serious. This argument assumes that Trump and his MAGA cult care about laws. They only care about what they can get away with. In 2028 I would bet that MAGA states will have him on the primary ballots which forces the Supreme Court to rule and I’m assuming John Robert’s folds based on whatever lie they weave about the intent of the constitution, and Trump is on the ballot in some way on 2028. If that does NOT happen then I assume the ticket will include Don Jr and you’ll see Trump be given a new role in government similar to what Elon Musk has now which gives him all the power of the presidency regardless and Don Jr. or JD basically are just formal signatories to his whims. Either way Trump is not going away. Oh and if a Democrat wins in 2028 you are nuts if you think they’ll just roll over and let them take power. The Democrats must have an overwhelming victory in 2026 and hold as much power as possible in DC and across as many states as possible, and we need to be very lucky with the military command when they are put in the position we all know they’ll be put in.
