Green actually has more gravity than Edwards using objective data.

Except Ant actually finishes his drives or makes it to the line. Maybe, you could say Jalen will get the calls eventually, but I doubt it.

Ant is obviously better than Green. I was just making a specific comment ab out gravity.

Also statistically they seem pretty even on drives. Green 10.5 drives per game with 47.6 fg% and Ant at 13.6 drives per game at 47.7 %. Ant gets to the line a bit more. Amen at 7 attempts per game at 45.5%.

    REPORTED!

Just asking this question, whatever the reason, is reprehensible.

According to "Playoff Probabilities Report" on Basketball Reference our remaining strength of schedule is significantly harder than the rest of the league. I'm relieved we clinched.

My ideal bracket is still in play and somewhat likely. It accomplishes two goals. Best possible bracket for the Rockets to advance a round or two, and the thorniest bracket for the OKC Thieves. Really want to see that team go down before the Finals. I don't trust the Celtics or Cavs to knock them out.

    1) OKC Thieves
    2) Rockets
    3) Nuggets
    4) Lakers
    5) Warriors
    6) Wolves
    7) Grizzlies
    8) Clippers

Grizz would be the ideal first round matchup, and I'd be fine taking on the winner of the Wolves-Nuggets. I think the Wolves would take that series, however, and I give the Rockets a good chance of beating them. A trip to the WCF would be wonderful, and this seems the ideal bracket for them to accomplish that.

For the Thieves, I'd love for them to face healthy Kawhi in Round 1. Then they can play the winner of the Warriors and Lakers (keeping them well away from us in the first two rounds). Would love to see either team knock out OKC and see Oklahoma City and Clay Bennet suffer. With love, from Seattle!

I can't see the Rockets beating either the Warriors or Lakers in the WCF if they make it that far, but I would be very happy going into the offseason if it shook out that way.

Perhaps so. I just don’t like some of his traits as I have observed him for quite a while. Fans complain when Jalen turn the ball over. Have they watched Ant’s decision making especially in crunch time?

Amen and Sengun are probably the two players that GM's actually covet. No true super star deal gets done without involving those two.

Amen is untouchable. Sengun or Jalen will be included in a superstar trade like Giannis or Ant. I really don’t see a path to getting Ant. Giannis is a possibility and it would be Sengun in that trade if made. The new owners of the Timberwolves would be crucified if their first act was to trade Ant.

How does our magic work right now for the two seed when there are so many teams within striking distance of us?

The Rockets winning 3 games would give them 53 wins. Every team below us has at least 30 losses, so they can't catch us.

If the Rockets win 2 more games, then they need only one additional loss by both the Lakers and Nuggets to clinch the 2nd seed.

Got it. So treat it like a magic number relative to each team behind us. Thank you!

The basketball gods have been good to the Rockets lately. Every team that needed to lose, lost. The only hiccup was the Rockets' recent loss to LA, but aside from that, it's been nearly perfect.

    You got it.

Magic number to finish ahead of:

    Lakers - 3 games
    Nuggets - 3 games
    Warriors - 2 games
    T'Wolves - 1 game

If I got any of that wrong, someone please correct me. But we've either lost the tiebreaker to those teams or haven't clinched it yet.

I think the only thing "wrong" is that we own the multi-team tie breaker over the teams that don't win their division if I'm not mistaken.

Fair point. That did benefit the Rockets in 2015 in getting home court over the Clippers.
