Apple has average $170 billion in profit per year the past 4 years. How much of that has passed on the country it works in and was created in outside of it's top 1% employees? They could assemble in the US for less profits for their 1%, but opportunities for the bottom 90%. It's crazy how open elitist dems are about not wanting this. If you don't want to pay $1500 instead of $1200 for an iphone, more power to you. Apple may have to accept their slave labor gravy train is over and accept less profits.

Interesting you took an interest in my post. Hopefully, understand my point - the person to which my post was directed is an idiot and proves it daily with his consistent nonsense.

As for John 8:32 - thanks to Donald Trump, we live in a post truth world. Trump cares very little about truth and thanks to him, Trumpers cannot distinguish between truth and lie. Or they know the difference and choose not to care. And care little about the law. Or the Constitution. Truth is met with “fake news” or “I have never heard of that”.

    Wise words.

I know when I can't win an argument in real life, I make sure to let the other party know my SAT score. It normally ends the conversation and I get what I want.

You must be new to this section of Clutchfans. Long ago, we established the fact that Trump is anti education, anti science, anti knowledge. Trump does especially well with non college educated white males. The only requirements to be a Trumper are (1) absolute loyalty to Trump like he is Jesus himself, and (2) hate democrats.

So long as you understand that I am and always will be smarter than you, that is more than enough for me in our discussions. I am under no illusion that you are capable of any reasoned or intelligent thought. Or that you are here to learn anything.

all that jibberish just to avoid responding to my points?

you had cut n paste the false claim that
    • tarilffs will bring high-paying mfg jobs to the US
in response, i cited the US experiences with Tariffs, under Trump 1.0 and Herbert Hoover
    • these tariffs did not bring high paying mfg jobs to the US
    stay on topics

i wish that you would stop cutting n pasting convenient lies

Your post proves otherwise. But we should really take this elsewhere or agree to disagree like free men.

.. lol trump just appointed a anti union NLRB general counsel who worked for a anti union lobbying firm who busted unions for a living. Don't gas light anyone that you losers suddenly care about the working class when Trump has declared war on the NLRB and FTC.

MAGATs really think everyone is as brainwashed as they are. You will never win a single argument on these forums

The chips act only had a few dozen republican votes in the house while Kevin Mccarthy literally told his members not to vote for the bill. Trump on social media was against the bill at the time.

Trump has dismantled the entire Chips team that was assembled under biden. Why do you have to lie so much thinking everyone is as braindead as you?

Funny how half of Americans, roughly, think they can trust a guy, who is a billionaire that can't keep any one of his numerous companies out of bankruptcy, to run our economy.

All this in response to some of the mentally unsound population wanting to use a different bathroom or be able to have an advantage in a sport.

Shows how shortsighted Americans are, in general.

I must apologize to those I asked to take this elsewhere. I did not realize this was the Dungeons and Dragons Forum. I usually just click on the new responses links without regard to Forums. I generally go to another site for political discussions since this one is pretty much the echo chamber for the arrogant and I prefer wisdom to efficient regurgitation (my definition of intelligence without wisdom).

It's pretty amazing how @Os Trigonum went from years of spamming us daily with his "I'm not a Trump fan but here's a bunch of MAGA poison presented for your consumption" - to completely MIA

    I wonder why!

I predict when the tariffs ruin the American economy, MAGA supporters will claim that the US was in such horrible condition that it had to be done to try and save America or some BS.

They'll never admit they were wrong to support Trump.

Oh, Sam, you look like a fool cursing people and wildly displaying your emotions!

Your financial advice for years has been to just hand Ukraine money with no strings attached. I can't think of a worse financial strategy than to direct American tax dollars to buy bullets and bombs for a country half way around the world and on its way to extinction. Everyone knows you are rooting against the American economy because you hate the Trump administration. It renders your analysis unreliable -- you are thinking with your heart and not your head.

Biden put us on a ruinous financial course -- with greater than $2 trillion per year of budget deficits and hyper inflation. That economic strategy simply does not work. Trump is bringing down oil and gas prices. Trump has brought down interest rates. The job market remains strong (see today's report). The Administration is now reshaping global trade to bring more investment to the USA and create more jobs and real wage growth. Change is hard and comes with turbulence, which we are seeing. The globalists who want to see the US manufacturing base eroded and shipped off to Southeast Asia are very upset right now. Americans who want a strong middle class and a strong manufacturing base at home recognize that the investment is sound. Trump is truly unique in that he has the courage to make tough moves -- and stand by them. No politician in recent memory has had those kind of balls. He took on the corrupt Obama/Biden machine, the DOJ, the Intel agencies, the globalist cabal, even two assassins! He is a legendary figure who is the most important person in our lifetimes.

    GOOD DAY

They are raising the debt ceiling(republicans in their budget report) and that job growth report needs to be revised two more times for it to have the full picture.

Literally took one sentence to destroy this garbage.

So, you think if Apple started manufacturing their phones in the U.S. the price would only go up 25%?
