He's a good alley oop guy and rebounder. Not much else. IMO, his upside is very limited. Pistons will have to decide on paying him.

Nah, Jokic actually deserves MVP. He’s having a ridiculous season. Remove Jokic from Nuggets? Nuggets barely make the play offs or the play in. Remove SGA from Thunder? Thunder still make the playoffs and are a top 6 seed.
Remove SGA and they don't even have someone to be a sparring partner in practice..... also they would not be doing big trades if there was no SGA, all the trades for Harty and Caruso go out of the window...... The team at best would be in the Play In if at all. Fans overlook the fact that the superstar leads by example and also leads in practices and off court.....and this is the case with Shaivonte. He is as much a culture setter as Udoka is, or FVV and Brooks are. Remove Udoka from the Rockets in Year 1 and look where they are and then imagine the Thunder just not as bad......
so without Jokic, they’re a play-in team/possible playoff team, and with him they’re a 3rd or 4th seed 17.5 games behind OKC in the standings and without SGA, OKC is a top 6 team in the West, but with him they’re on pace for 69 wins and have the best point differential in NBA history while their 2nd and 3rd best players in Chet and J-Dub have missed 49 and 12 games respectively that just further proves my point
Playoffs or play in? Are you serious? Denver would struggle to get to 30 wins, most likely would go around 25-57ish. They have a -7.4 net rating when he sits, that would be 5th worst in the league. The pels are the best team with a net rating below -7 and they are 21-55. Hornets are 19-57. Denver would be around those team’s level. When jokic plays they are +10.2, exactly the same net rating as the cavs who are 61-15. Jokic is essentially turning the hornets into the cavs by himself. He will not win the MVP, but it will have nothing to do with who deserves it, it will be purely narrative and politics.
