Case Keenum essentially being a QB coach has really helped him stick around and make money in the NFL.
Good for Case! He'll have a lot of street cred if he wants to transition to coaching. Could see him starting as Asst QB coach and moving up the ranks if he wants.
Tom Brady's friend, Nick 'Cesario', hinted at talking to Pitre for an extension. I was skeptical at playing him the way they did this season. but he got better and better. It was out of necessity due to Harris injury but why change it now
Keenum has developed the modern Player/Coach which is technically no longer permitted. He is formally strictly a player under the Players agreement, but whose duties include an in uniform on field teaching role. He is someone who can show and tell as well as prepare for an emergency role within the system when needed. And for this, he is better compensated than a typical assistant coach due to the Veteran Minimum floor.
