    I've never understood why MLB does this early in the season. What's the point of breaking up a series? Why not just have a day off today?

    We're the only 2 teams not playing Friday, and 3 of the other 4 teams playing day games today are traveling after the games. There's no event at or around the park that I can find. There *has* to be some reason, but damned if I can guess what it is.

    Possible weather issues. Thursday off would have likely turned it into an Astros travel day, and sliding a game back into it would be inconvenient for the teams and the fans. Friday off allows them to slide a game forward or back if they must. That still leaves the double header option on both Saturday or Sunday. Two play-able days of the four.

    I am assuming the day games are weather related too. Too cold to be playing outside in a Minnesota night in early April.

    Annoying to have MLBTV and have no chance to watch any of our games so far except the one game on Saturday.

    I guess I haven't missed much so far.

    Yea in these cold weather places with no dome (stupid but whatever) they try to leave an off day if possible after the first game of the series in case of postponed games. Its same reason we did not play last Sunday.

    Used to be every team played on Friday's and Sunday's but early in the season now it's not the case

    More Rodgers, and Dubon in CF. No Yainer as will be the case this year when he doesn't catch

    Really need Yordan to get going, this lineup isn't very deep at all
