“Oh hey guys, I got a funny joke, we should call this guy “the assist killer” because he misses too many shots, I’m so hilarious that’s a good joke” - You’re spot on on everything here..more Bari shots and less green/FVV end of shot clock chucking
I just hate how much they miss him in the corners. Sometimes dude will be wide open but so many guys on this team got tunnel vision...they will run into the paint, draw the defenders, and no matter how many in the paint they will try to finish over them all. Basically everyone on this team does this outside of Sengun and Amen. Whoever is in the corner is rarely getting that shot.
We got two bonehead playmakers in FVV and JG thats why lol. If we had Malcolm Brogdon, Tyus Jones or Dennis S this wouldnt happen. Replacing FVV with an actual playmaker should be priority 1 regardless if they keep or trade JG.
About time we start showing some love to Jabri Smith jr. He plays hard. He isn't afraid to shoot the rock. And maybe the most impact he is having is on the boards. Like a beast out there! Loving every bit of his development. I am afraid he will be a piece to get a star . Much rather it be cam than him, honestly.
Huge Jabari hater early on, but he’s looked amazing. Confident. Faster. Even looks stronger. I think this 6th man role is a game changer for him.
Maybe I'll eat my words but I have a strong feeling Jabari is going to be an absolute playoff riser. Feel like him and Amen are the type to rise to the occasion
Jabari has the weight of being the 3rd pick over his head but as he grows and develops he’s exactly the type of player we’ll want on the team when we’re contending. I like what I’m seeing in his progression.
Jabari's got to bring desperation and high intensity to every game he plays. It needs to become a part of his basketball nature. Maybe coming off the bench has helped him realize that. The last 5 games and the playoffs should reveal a lot. If Tari remains healthy, Jabari will have a major dogfight regaining his starting spot in the fall.
I totally agree with Jabari needing to play with that edge, he's the best when he's trying to prove something. I do have a hard time seeing Tari as a starter, because he brings so much energy off the bench and also because he makes a TON of mistakes that Jabari simply wouldn't. I don't know if I'm in the majority or minority on this though, because it seems like how people (including me) feel about Tari and Jabari change on a game-by-game basis
Lmao Horry is better than Bari and likely will win more than Bari ever will. Capela is underrated.......maybe you try Troy Murphy - Ilyasova - Tayshaun Prince
Jabari is a very mental player. His methodical overthinking and high expectations for himself gets in the way of him just playing. Coming off the bench seems to relieve some of that pressure and he looks very comfortable in his new role.
The people with more rings than Horry . . . most of them are dead now so Saying Horry wins more is a no brainer Jabari can do EVERYTHING Capela does and more. I LOVE CAPELA - Should bring him back if Adams leaves!!! Jabari has more all around skills Rocket River
I really wish he were more assertive with his 8-14 ft jumper. It's a really effective shot for him in the halfcourt, particularly over a smaller man, and we use it so sparingly.
He's finally showing more than just being able to shoot over defenders. He has shown impressive stuff attacking close outs and passing out when in traffic in the paint well too.
Love the way he is boxing out and getting strong rebounds. The last few minutes of the last Lakers game, he was playing very strong. Hopefully it can carry over to the Playoffs.
