Our hitters can’t elevate sinkers or avoid swinging at breaking pitches down and away. Hinchs playbook in the wild cared series was throwing all sinker ball pitchers. This is a system issue and it starts with the hitting coaches. I can’t understand how they keep ignoring this glaring issue
And the best GM in the league that was on the same page as Hinch. All the other idiot fans says we "got off easy" with the scandal when we were the scapegoat and got ****ed out of the best GM/manager combination in the league. Not to mention the loss of the draft picks.
Cam Smith needs to be out there every day - I am perfectly fine with Chas getting playing time, at least there is upside there. I am getting really tired of the Espada tinkering..... there isn't enough offensive talent for tinkering....
Yordan can speak English very well. He learned English starting before coming state side. Yordan is actually very bright - however, he has learned like Ichiro and many others--- don't speak English to the media unless you absolutely have to.
Just put Altuve back to 2nd, and let Dezenzo play LF. I would like to see Cam and Dezenzo play every day.
Whatever. I don’t think he can. Was just an observation. I don’t really care. Obviously, I wasn’t saying he’s dumb or not smart.
Yes...it's time to abandon the Altuve in LF experiment. It only semi made sense after we traded for Paredes and were still trying to retain Bregman, but once Alex went to Boston that idea should've been shelved.
I thought Espada had a rough start to his managing career. His inexperience showed last year. Obviously, he can improve, but there is a panic about him.
