He's been grabbing his wrist for more than a month now. He drives and grabs it or "whips it". Seems to bother him. Last night he just got stuffed by the Lakers. It happens. Just cant continue to happen and cant continue to blame coaches, spacing, Sengun, Amen, the court, his wrist or whatever when it does happen. And it seems to happen a lot against better teams.

We'll know more in the coming weeks.

He shot poorly, but did not deserve to be benched last night. Without him, we had no semblance of perimeter shot creation whatsoever and it killed us.

I wonder if Ime benching him was sending a message that he wasn't being aggressive enough in the 4th. Regardless, having Fred out there instead who was not only a black hole on offense, but also getting targeted repeatedly on defense, was a mystery.

no need to bench him for the fourth quarter to send a message. Green has busted his ass all year. Ime plays too many games with his players. All it taught Jalen was that Ime only cares about his own ego and his love affair with FVV.

You know who played poorly and DID deserve to be benched?

I am still unsure about how good Jalen will become. And I think in general I am quite critical of him.

That being said. It cannot be the case that our creators at the end of games are Fred and Dillon. We need to let Sengun, Jalen and Amen figure this out together. Maybe we will lose some games but the most important thing this year is development of these 3 players (and I think I would also add Smith to this). And also figuring out if they will be able to rise to the occasion.

To assess how the young ones are, Fred, Dillon and Adams should just rest for 1 single season.

The young ones have to do the dirty work while playing to their comfort zone.

Yeah, like at what point will Green have done enough to earn Ime's trust to finish games even if he isn't shooting well? He's had several games where he shot poorly but made winning plays at the end. Just didn't see the reason for having FVV out there instead at all.

Missed like his last 3-4 shots too, was really efficient and in control.

    Good bounce back game.

    Among Green's comments:

We have the talent, but he was the head of the snake. Coming in and bringing the dog out of us, and bringing that culture to us, and getting guys to play hard.

That first year (last season), he taught us all a lesson. If you're not going to play hard, you're going to come out. That's habits we had to break, as young guys on the worst team in the NBA.

The Rockets are bad at handling b2bs so the Playoffs having days off would be refreshing.

Jalen Greene makes plays that only 1 or 2% of the players in the league can make and his command of passing and creating shots for others has come a long way the last couple months.
