Defense and physicality is exactly why he's a better prospect than Tre Johnson, TJ's a better scorer though

I don’t watch a lot of college basketball, but I’ve seen a couple Baylor games now and I really like Eddgecombe. He kind of gives me some Jimmy Butler vibes. Is that accurate? I know a lot of of you guys are Baylor fans.

Maybe the Phoenix pick along with Whitmore and another asset to move up to four or five to get him?

Yes, he's kind of a freak. Good comparison.

Scott Drew and Baylor know how to coach defense too, so that shouldn't be an issue.

    Dillon Brooks replacement, I assume?

Just based off the mocks so far, I am looking at:

Khaman Maluach - Proper defensive big
Asa Newell - Just based of size and potential

The mocks will definitely slide up and down till the actual date, but for now i am settled on size, 6'10 plus only.

I don't think Brooks is getting replaced anytime soon. He's on a good contract and him combined with Thompson and Eason are a 3 headed defensive monster. I want more heads so let's add not subtract.

Man I'd love to see us get Jeremiah Fears, love the way the kid plays.

What round do you think a kid like Chance McMillian from Texas Tech would go?

He could be a great bench prospect as a shooter. 52.5% FG and 43.4% 3 PT shooter who averaged over 5 three point shots per game.

At picks 12-14, Florida’s Clayton Jr looks like a good pick up. He’s a taller FVV, a good defender with an outside shot. Not to mention he’s been clutch when the game is on the line. He might not have much of a ceiling being a senior but he’s fits the need for a steady pg that won’t cost 45M a year.

    Late 1st, 2nd round, G-League, or Europe

The Rockets aren't likely to get a high pick. Is Nolan Traore a potentially good Eurostash pick? He is 6'3" and 185 lbs and only 18 years old. He plays a bit like Tony Parker. Another season in France could acclerate his development.

A Eurostash pick? Nolan Traore also looks like a Eurostash pick.
Sergio is taller and has more range on his jumper.
Traore is more shifty and faster than Sergio.

Yes, so can Nolan Traore, I believe. Another year in Europe could help in polishing his game.

Egor Demin is a very interesting prospect. His passing and court vision even under pressure is good. His jumper can improve but it's not bad. He is 6'9 190 lbs, and athletic. Perhaps, the Rockets can take a chance with him in the late lottery.

His shooting makes Amen Thompson look like Dale Ellis.

Not sure why we need another guy like that.

this guy is the perfect fit for us and what we want to do as a team. him in the PnR with Sengun with Amen and Jalen as cutters fits like a glove.

Love the idea of a future lineup like:

    Reed
    Jakucionis
    Green
    Amen
    Sengun

the passing and IQ with passers on the floor like this would be spurs like.
