    Wrong.

    Corey Booker would say otherwise.

Sen. Cory Booker has spent all of Monday night and Tuesday morning on the Senate floor, delivering an impassioned speech in protest of the Trump administration's policies. The effort, which also involves numerous Democrats, is inching closer to a record by the hour.

The New Jersey Democrat took the podium at 7 p.m. EDT, vowing to speak "for as long as I am physically able." He was still standing — with glasses on and papers in hand — as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, taking periodic breaks from speaking by yielding to questions from his colleagues.

By early afternoon, over 52,000 people were watching Booker's live stream on YouTube.

Face it, when it comes to bending over backwards to approve anything Trump wants, nobody does it like Republicans. They defend some of the cruelest, most stupid, illegal, dangerous, and downright inhumane proposals, actions or things he says and does, even if that means twisting the truth, lying their as*es off, and kissing his boots on top of that.

    OK,

I'm just glad the border is secure

Also I'm a guy that got a job after looking for a penny at an apartment complex off of William Cannon in Austin. That penny allowed me to get a newspaper and I found a job. I've worked very hard since and the current system has been very good for me and my family. You sound very bitter for some reason. The current system allows even the poor to live a better life than people in other countries. Like I've said many times, God blessed me to be born in the USA and blessed me even further by allowing me to be born in the free state of Texas. If you have issues with this then are truly are your issues.

Yeah cutting govt waste, fraud and doing what he said he was going to do on the campaign trail is so inhumane.

Egg prices are way down at HEB, although they're still way too high. I noticed when I went to the grocery store last Thursday that the 200 dollars I usually spend filled up the cart a lot more than it used too. Personally I'm for paying more for things as long as the tariffs bring jobs back to the USA,

You and Trump have far different ideas of what is humane and what isn't compared to me, that's for sure. The same goes with government waste. Don't even bring up fraud unless you start with the two joined to the hip named Trump and Musk.

id like to hear more details on this story! you were walking around a parking lot looking for a penny? did you lose the penny or were you broke so you were just hoping to find some change? you said that one penny gave you enough money to buy a newspaper? so you had .49 cents or however much a paper costs these days and with that one cent you now had enough money to buy a paper. what job did you find in the newspaper?

ive never heard of a single penny changing someones life so much...and to think we are talking about phasing them out!

share your experience so that others may learn and lift themselves up like you did!

I was going to hangout by the newspaper machine and ask somebody to loan me a penny. Sunday paper back then cost $ 1.00 IRRC. While waiting for somebody to walk up I looked around for money and found a penny.

He is a democratic socialist- or at least was, I don’t know what he would describe himself as now.

One draw back to authoritarianism and nativism in power is that people become more willing to consider more extreme push back candidates.

The machines don't take pennies though. Maybe you were buying it in a store?

I walked down to the store on the corner of I-35 and William Cannon and bought a newspaper. Sorry I should have been more clear. It seems as though you think I'm being untruthful? Anyways, I'm just very thankful that I found that penny.

Gotta put up resistance to Soros crap.

Voter ID laws passed, probably due to the money put into the race and that's just as important as the election. If Wisconsinites want to become a socialist state then so be it. Just dont ask the rest of the country to bail them out when they inevitably go bankrupt.

So the blue states won’t just have to subsidize the red states, now they will have to subsidize the really really blue state. What a world!

Egg prices are indeed down from a brief spike. But food costs, in general, have been increasing per the data. If your experience is different, maybe your tastes happen to align well with the recent price fluctuations. More likely though is you're experiencing some confirmation bias where you note price decreases (like eggs) as proof but ignore price increases that undermine your narrative, and then pass your erroneous impressions on to us. Or maybe even have just invented the whole lower grocery price thing out of whole cloth, knowing that your own anecdotal experience can't be disproven. But, per the data, grocery prices are not down and have slightly risen. Even if it's different for you, your personal experience is pretty irrelevant for me and everyone else because we're buying our groceries, not your groceries.

I'm just saying the machines don't take pennies, so you wouldn't be looking around for a penny to use in the machine. You might be lying, but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and the actual events of the day are different than you recall them. Could be it was really a quarter you needed. Could be you bought it from the store or corner guy. Could have been you decided you wanted a soda at the store when buying the paper. Could be something you heard that eventually became something you thought you did. Happens all the time to people. It doesn't really matter. Just know, the machine did not take pennies.
