In order to keep that 4/5 matchup between the Lakers and GS the Nuggets need to keep winning to stay in front of LA. Of course we need to keep winning as much as possible but I don’t care as long as we are 2 or 3.
I was thinking that too, but the player has to be allowed to land. Otherwise, everyone would just Zaza at the buzzer to the other team's shooter.
Actually, we want to keep the Lakers at #4. So Denver loses give the Lakers better chances to get to #3.
I've said this many times before and I will say it again: I've seen Russell Westbrook miss more layups more than any other player, by far. He single-handedly blew a 61-point triple-double for Jokic. He should win 1st and 2nd place on the next Shaqtin' a Fool.
Ya but there was no contact during the game. He only made contact after the game ended. I could see it being some sort of technical after the fact but it’s certainly not a shooting foul.
This is a devastating loss for the Nuggets. Jokic plays the entire second half including double overtime with a 60+ point triple double just to lose on a boneheaded play, smh.
It seems boneheaded now, but how would it have looked to pass on a 2 on 1 fast break only to have Westbrook go to the line. I think it was the right play, just the wrong player as Westbrook struggles with confidence. I was rooting for the Wolves so I'm glad it happened.
