He is a consistently horrible shooter.

His shiit FG% tells it.

 

Disappointing loss.

Sengun just not good enough against a team with no legit bigs.

Jalen wasn’t great but contributed in other ways; should not have been benched in the 4th.

Fred’s play is not acceptable and I can’t stand the appologists. I’m saying this as a Fred guy.

We got outcoached tonight.

 

I just don’t get all the hate. The team has super over achieved this season. It’s been fun all year. But people just want to b****.

 

Nah he ran from the moment, he wanted no parts of that play. He didn't even attempt to create anything. That was his play, his time and he passed it off without thinking twice

 

Second night of a b2b in LA against the refs....I mean Lakers. We're better than this team but a few things.

1. Jabari. This is why he went #3. This is his style of game (aka playoff style). Figure this out Ime before another coach does a year from now.

2. Amen. He's the future if that wasn't obvious already.

3. Sengun/Green. Yikes. They have a lot riding on the next few weeks. They're either going to cement themselves as cornerstones of the team or the cornerstones of a trade package.

4. Fred. This should be his last year running the team.

5. Adams. One of his worst games in quite some time.

 

The ref who gave Tari the technical should be investigated. There’s NOOO way that he thought Tari was taunting the lakers. Guarantee you he had something on the line.

 

The Rockets were leaving their shooters wide open anyway so they might as well should have played Cam. At least he would have scored some points.

This. Ime effed up by not playing him most of the third quarter. If he's on the floor instead of Steve, those wide open 3's for DFS and Gabe aren't as open, and on offense he would at least spread the floor for Amen and Alpi.

 

Or replace the administration.

 

So when they make a bad call you can just body slam them.

 

alot of ref controversy as expected, but the coaching Tyrant makes it all irrelevant with his decisions. he keeps fred out there the whole game to jack up sht to jack sht up. how does fred make things easier for them anyway. he cant even find a way to get it to Alpi. trash

 

This game was also too slow. Too much walking up the court and not utilizing our youth and athleticism.

 

Not playing JaeSean Tate on LeBron James and Dorian Finney Smith

Aaron Holiday should've played, his shooting is way better.

Why not try out Cam Whitmore for stretches early in the game.

 

If Fred VanVleet didn't play. I know Jalen Green would've scored more points based on having the ball and Amen Thompson running a Fast break pass to Jalen Green.

 

This game is on Ime, we played into Lakers pace instead of creating our own. Oldman and fatboy cannot run more than 20mins a night and we let them jog whole game smh

 

Fred VanVleet - Negative Slow Style and Jalen Green - Absorbing Negativity, Fred not trusting Jalen with the ball.

Amen Thompson - Positive, Fast breaks, up tempo - Jalen Green - Positive - Feed off High Energy. Trust each other.

 

NBA front office have a system to assign certain refs for certain teams/matchups to help determine the outcome of games.
