I would prefer Jalen to Booker. Both are comparable. One is on a better contract. One still developing and has more upside. I would help facilitate Booker to Detroit for Ausar.

DD is a contrarian if I ever see one. He just likes to take the opposite stance of most fans. For what I have no idea. And of course most of the time he’s wrong, but he’ll never admit.

    DD with Harden,

"It's about the eye test not the stats".

    DD with Jalen,

"Is about the stats not the eye test".

They should have made the graphic as the top 10 fastest so Corey Brewer could could have been on there.

    per BTG basketball acumen extraordinaire!

He just confuses internal warning signs with instinct or gut feeling or something vague like that. It's not a coincidence that he has such a consistent nose for who we should stay away from.

He's not intending to be a contrarian, he actually believes this stuff. It's just his systems got twisted before his nervous system got primed or during some traumatic experience. If you can perfectly detect who we should stay away from, then it means he can just as consistently predict who's going to really make it.

Let's say of each 10 players he likes, 9 tend to be catastrophes. If he learns what his "gut instinct" REALLY means, he would have been able to predict the 1 out of 10 success story. The problem is he's addicted to the gut instinct. There is no special feeling when the 1 out of 10 success story shows up, and the absence of a "gut feeling" confuses him. If he just trusts that the absence of a feeling is a good sign and the presence of a feeling is a warning sign, he would actually be elite at predicting who's going to succeed.

But if he didn't do it for himself, he's not going to do it for basketball. So for us, we can use him kind of like a robot. If he's feeling relatable to some player's story, it's clearly a warning sign. If he's feeling like someone is unimpressive and doesn't get him hyped up, that's a really good sign for the Houston Rockets. His opinion is very valuable in the inverse.

On the D&D he has a history of abhorrently racist posts about things he literally doesn't know anything about, and when he's told to his face about it he tries to blame cultural elements for exaggerating it then when you pop that bubble he starts trying to find faults in other people that he sees in himself. That's him trying to drag down others instead of staying true to himself. He's caught in something called the Trauma Triangle, you can look it up.

Essentially if you want to predict everything he believes in politics: the more a group looks like him, the more he trusts them and gives them a pass for even brutal things. The more they look and sound different, he can't trust even factual statements about those people. He believes people who look like him act in self interest, but people who don't look like him cannot be trusted to even do that. He does this because if you can't trust people, you have to think of a narrative for why that's the case and you don't really want to admit: I don't know how to do something so rudimentary as trusting people.

Very troubled guy. It's no wonder he doesn't understand that rewarding Cam right now is the worst thing for the Rockets and for Cam. He's seeing himself in that kid, but that kid is going to grow out of this victim mindset most likely when he gets some therapy. DD has been like this literally since before Cam was born.

I hope Jalen bulks up 15 pounds this summer. Kind of how Kobe did, completely will change his game if he can take hits.

I really dont enjoy this "psychological breakdown" of another poster randomly in the garm, idc who it is. You do this quite often and it comes off as very judgemental and belittling as if your better than anyone else here. We are all humans at the end of the day and we all deserve our individualism, even if you dont like it or disagree.

please keep that shiit in the D&D and stick to basketball in the garm

    Not gonna happen.

Also, Kobe's bulk up was a 5-year plan.

No thanks, "overtraining" aside, we don't need Jalen getting slower and breaking down with injuries. He's currently iron man already,

That needs to apply to DD and Fchwd as well. They are 2 of the most prolific posters of political nonsense in the Sports’ forums. Moderators should be more active to keep this place a fun place for sports fans to converse. Left and right wing nuts are becoming much more emboldened in the areas of this GARM that are meant to be an escape from all the political s**t, unless it relates to sports.

You can live with Dillon Brook's 3s but these are the leaders of Attempted 3s per game.

    JG 8.4
    Fred 7.8
    Dillon 6.3 (39%)
    Jabari 4.9

I hope not. Amen is already super strong and don’t want him to lose any of his quickness to bulk up. On the other hand, I would like Jabari to bulk up significantly and Jalen maybe 10 lbs just so he can play through contact better. Jalen definitely is getting screwed by the refs compared to other scorers like Ant and SGA.
