Summary is the same old stuff. Rockets were outshot in a huge way (8%), but winning o-rebounds 18-3 (51/32 overall) and TOs 15-9 gave them a such an advantage in FGAs (101-79) they almost couldn't lose. Alpi's dominance on offense made up for Fred being a 34 min flat tire. The Terror Twins were effective and noticeable even though they didn't have many steals. Tell you what: The guy I trust the most to get two hands on a defensive rebound and NOT get the ball knocked free is Amen. The defense was terrible. Way too many miscues. This is why the Jazz went 11/23 from long range and shot 54%. If the Rockets had been decent on defense, this would have been a 20+ point blowout and Cam might have played. What a tragedy! Alpi exploding was really encouraging. He played with purpose on offense from the opening tip, which he hadn't done in a while.
Jalen Green entered for Fred at the 7:40 mark w/the #Rockets up 94-90 Went 3-4 (1-2 on 3s), 1-1 on FTs, w/4 asts, 2 rebounds, a +7, & no TOs to key a 27-20 finish Scored or assisted on 16 of the final 27 points. (Fred didn't re-enter) Love Ime trusting him
Jalen has grown a ton this season. I don't love him handling the ball, but his overall game has improved so much it's unreal.
