i can't even watch espn right now. ahhhh i'm going crazy, if only things went our way for once and no i'm not gonna watch the series. its to depressing and heartbreaking to even see anybody else but the stros pitching and hitting
Boston's lineup is pretty good and since Damon is heating up, they'll just be even more dangerous. Pitching...I wouldn't totally give Boston the edge. Schilling will be Schilling but everyone else....even Pedro has lost some velocity.
I feel your pain Stros fans - (remember the ALCS Game 7 of last year?). I said the same thing - I would not watch one minute of the World Series between the Yankees and the Marlins, but by Game 3, I started watching it. Knowing how the Red Sox are, I can see them losing the first 3 games (just like they did in the ALCS), come back and win the next 3 games. Only to LOSE Game 7 in extra innings in Boston. But for now, I am going to say Red Sox in 7.
game 7, Halloween, the Red Sox are literally chucked. Plus they cannot excercise the Bagwell and Clemens demons. They have nothing to play for.
I hope the Sox don't win. Boston's a bunch of sissy complainers. They've sucked for the last century, get slapped around like a red-headed step-child, and cast all the blame for their own failures on a curse by a jilted player. If that wasn't bad enough, they've got people all over the country, fans of other teams, talking about their curse. They've got journalists doing stories about their curse. If you want to win a World Series, stop blaming others for your failures, man up and work for it. The Stros have an historic season; they're doing what they've never managed before (while not making up lame excuses for never having managed it before), and are hoping to get their first ever WS appearance. But, all anyone outside of Houston wants to talk about are the lame-ass Boston Red Sox. Cards in 4.
