This team always looks like they’re playing for the first time together on defense when it comes to switching. It’s been like that all year. There’s always a mistake, miscommunication ir misconception on when to switch that leads to layups like the last couple to end the half
I blame Udoka for that one - that was a clear & obvious flop by George but even if it wasn't overturned, a time out would have been good there. Instead nothign happened and the Jazz kept gaining on the ROckets. Good job Ime Udoka & your 12 assistant coaches. Can't wait to hear you admit your error in the postgame press conference.
Time and time again teams beat us on 2 things. Simple high screens and the fast break. Rockets always has issues with quicker teams that can drive and run on the break (wolves, kings, jazz, heat etc). One issue is they always try to play over the screen and dropping back their big. Why not do what most teams do, which is jumping out and hedging on those screens or moving the big up to prevent the drive.
I love the way we are so good at closing out quarters. Always paying attention to detail and hustling all the way to the end. Great job again team!
