I've been working on this for a month now and can happily report that I'm seeing signs of progress. My instrumentation has recently shown increased levels of disgruntilization from Ant, so I am doubling down on my efforts to send these specialized disgruntilization vibes.
It would take Jalen, Jabari or Tari, and 5 picks to have a shot, but I don’t think the Wolves will trade Ant for anything.
I’m not the biggest Jalen Green fan but I’d MUCH RATHER have him over Booker straight up. And you know we’d have to give up more than just JG if a deal were ever made. Booker has to be the most overrated “superstar” in this league over the past 5 years. I don’t think he’s nearly as good as his perceived reputation says he is. Sure the scoring numbers are there but he doesn’t impact winning like his numbers suggest and I don’t think of him as a true #1. He never was and he never will be. Jalen might not ever be that either but he’s way younger, cheaper and we wouldn’t give up assets on top of him to trade for Booker. It wasn’t until old man CP3 got to PHX that Booker finally went to the playoffs…. And he made a little bit of noise the remaining couple years CP3 was there and that’s it once Paul was gone. This is Booker’s 10th season in the league. Many view Booker as some type of sharp shooter. It’s wrong. He shoots 35% from 3PT for his career. He’s shooting less than that this year. Jalen Green is actually shooting better from 3 than Booker this season.
Oh did they? Disregard then. They still have been slipping lately and last night was wild! (I honestly only watched the fight but I thought I remembered them getting a loss last night when I looked at the espn scoreboard).
