Mukuba and most of the Texas players are studs, this coming from an Aggie. Bond is a Day 3 guy and not someone I would draft, period. There was an obvious lack of effort when Golden and Moore were outclassing him as the season went on, regardless of his injury status. He wasn't exactly a world beater at Bama, he was Milroe's go to in the SEC Championship upset against Georgia which caused his stock to soar, but he logged <5 catches in 9 of 14 games, >80 yards one time all season, and had 4 total TDs.

A while back someone here posted about the possibility of us drafting a TE. I responded that it's extremely unlikely and cited my rationale.

I was wrong. I now believe it's entirely possible.

If we did get a TE, I want a traditional dual threat TE. I'm tired of these receiver only TEIIs.

This would be an awesome draft.

    1. Loveland, you know what I think, great pick

    2. Henderson, game breaking speed, great 3rd down RB

    3. Fairchild, solid LG

    3. Williams- Has the athletic ability to become Nico II. Gotta learn the route tree though. Very hard to tackle with the ball in his hands.

    5. Phillips Huge dude with great speed, quickness. As talented as any DT in his class.

    7. Huzzie, nickle CB depth

    7. Cypress, you can never have too much CB depth.

I would take a chance on Bond outside of the top 100 picks.

    Love Mubuka's game.

Tell me more about Stewart/Turner/Falil Diggs.

Exactly and to get the type of TE you want, Caserio will either have to use 1-25 on one of Warren/Loveland, Taylor, or take a chance on a guy with an injury history (ACL) Fidone.

Note on Phillips. He has an advanced understanding of leverage from a wrestling background.

I'm with you. My problem is there are 100 dudes I'd "take a chance on" but we only have six picks.

Agreed on Blue (fumble issues) and Helm (a potential TE steal).

Taking a chance on a guy with good hands and 4.35 speed is a good bet IMHO.

WOW, that's almost 100 pounds heavier than the heaviest NFL players ever drafted, which were were 380 pound offensive linemen Trent Brown (Florida, 2015) and Daniel Faalele (Minnesota, 2022).
