I wasn’t expecting this, but I also didn’t anticipate the predictions leaning heavily in favor of the Astros running away with it. I really love the Tucker trade because it adds future value without significantly impacting this season. Most of the new additions mainly cover losses, except for Cam. However, I don’t expect many people to place much importance on Cam right now.
Happy Opening Day everyone. Are we ready for some BASEBALL Sadly, I will have to go to a bar to watch the game today. My MLB extra innings blacks out the Mets and Yankees where I live, and YouTube TV dropped SNY and the Yes Network, so I have no choice but to go to the gym and then head to my neighborhood gin mill to catch the game. Things we do for the love of the game. Is tomorrow an Apple TV game?
I'll see if my new connection to the Astros (both TV and Radio) will work in the regular season. If I count on it, it won't be there. I miss KOGT which carried the games for years until they chose podcasting over broadcasting. I'd gladly pay MLB for it's direct stream if I could be assured they wouldn't black me out. But they will tell you anything to get your info and then find an excuse to NOT DELIVER. Too far to hear inclusive broadcasting and too close to avoid exclusive cable. So far my Gameday has been the most consistent performer.
I hate that opening day is an afternoon game, it's harder to watch on my computer with people trying to actually work keep coming in my office while I screw around. Have fun at the bar!! I have tickets for Sat and a room a t the Magnolia so I can party and not worry about driving....................Lets go Stros. What are people saying about the Mets in the NY area, will they overtake the Yankees with Soto??
I do not discuss Mets or Yankees baseball with my circle of friends. They are blinded by trashcan hate. Steroids are all good for them they accept no responsibility for drug aided World Series championships. But are quick to disparage the 2017 season.
https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sp...rain-baseballs-cargo-daikin-park-20243514.php “The Astros are calling it the Phillips 66 Home Run train, which is reflected by a sign representing the energy company on the side of the train.”
this is literally an example of how 4-D chess works... (time is always the 4th, remember if you ever have to explain forward/backkerds, lateral or uplevel power play) thats the most basicbitch explanation I've ever heard. JFC chron.... really? Also this is going to age well (and may be a pornoparody): the Phillips 66 Home Run train... Fill-her-lips-66-Hoes-Run-Trains.... I'd rather them have a kickball tourney, or better yet-- every time someone hits a Salami, pull one of those balls and start bouncing it around the stands like beach balls at concerts... lol LFG! Win the Silver Boot, win the division!!!
