Will the Coogs have any scholarships available for the portal this year? The incoming class looks to be a monster class.

i dont think scholarships matter anymore with NIL.
Instead of having everyone covered by a scholarship, you simply set up an NIL deal that covers tuition.

The limit right now is 13 scholarships but we have 14 players on the roster. That means at least one guy is being covered by an NIL deal. Auburn has like 20 players on their roster.

college sports was always rotten but its extra icky nowadays... but as long as we win idgaf

Not really expecting him to sign here but would be cool if he did. Very cool.

Yep, my mistake. I was so fired up, I guess it was wishful thinking.

Kid must not want to win the Big 12 next season. Oh well. Next years team will be loaded.

One guy who I think would fit in great and should be a top portal target is Donovan Dent from New Mexico (6'2" PG, 4th-yr-Sr next season)

Poor Tramon Mark. The team he leaves always does better than the team he joins.

You think that's why (grass is always greener, money's a little more) he didn't want to stay with UH? I never understood why he left.

He wanted more touch. He never really got it at the other stops. He never should’ve left.

...and then left Arkansas for Texas, which made even less sense (despite him being 'hurt' half the year).

    Bad ideas.

For sure. He was a very good role player and it just wasn’t enough for him. He is one heck of a defensive player.
