[Marvel TV] Daredevil: Born Again - TV-MA - 3/4/25

I enjoyed the first two, fun watch. Reddit is having a meltdown over CGI though.

Started too slow for my taste

 

Carries on the vibes and tone of the Netflix series. Great start so far.

 

Caught up on the first two episodes last night, enjoyed the approach so looking forward to the rest of the episodes.....

Looks like it dropped at 8pm. It's up now.

 

Episode 3 was a little slow, but good ending. Should get more exciting in the next episode.

I wished they just dropped them all at once so I could binge watch it.

 

Nice set up episode, ending was really solid and should move things along much faster. I just wish they didn't have the time restriction on releases, really hate that Disney does that, just release them early that morning like all the other streamers....

 

I was wrong, doesn't seem like it got much faster in episode 4.

 

My wife and I don’t usually like shows like this, but we enjoyed the original daredevil from a few years ago.

And I think this has been a very solid reboot so far.

 

I've enjoyed this show, it's been good so far.

 

I think it has been pretty good. I didn’t watch the full Netflix series, but from what I did see it seems to very much be a sequel to that series.

I think people would just need to know that at least so far do not expect it to be an action series. It’s possible they are saving it for the back half of the series but so far it is very much a drama.

It would be fun to see these characters in a big budget NYC based street level spider man movie. I’m guessing that’s what they wanted to do with how they ended the last Spider Man movie but from what I see on the schedule with Avengers Doomsday being the next big marvel movie after Fantastic Four, I would assume that movie will pull him into a multiverse situation instead. That’s a shame cause I’d like to see that instead.

-Also I have a comic from when I was a kid that was a punisher-Wolverine crossover that involved Kingpin. That storyline with this version of Frank Castle, Kingpin, and Hugh Jackman could be cool.

 

Never an actual story, but a Daredevil vs Sabretooth season would be DOPE. That character has more room to breathe in a DD show than XMEN movies.

 

Tonight's two episodes, what a treat! Dare I say...better than Netflix's DD so far?

 

I thought the first bottle episode was a bit silly honestly but the 6th one was as good as any DD episode I’ve seen.

Daredevil and an Episode of DAREDEVIL… what a thought. I think that’s why Disney heads made the decision to release two episodes at once. They knew one more week without the actual character in it would make the narrative be about the show being too cheap to include the actual central character.

 

The show is good but is anyone else annoyed AF at Gandolfinis son? He ****ing sucks.

 

1 episode to go. Great season so far.
