When someone is investing millions of dollars into you. You don't get to do w/e you want. I'll never understand these athletes for not realizing that.
Yall know this is exactly how cams night went in Miami. Chillin’ with the guys, popping bottles. A couple of escorts/strippers roll up and start flirting. Dude’s completely faded and hits ’em with, “Google me… I’m Cam Whitmore from the Rockets.” They actually Google his salary, throw out a number, and he agrees. Totally forgets he’s in the NBA and ends up posting his wild night on IG. The rest is history. @Snow Villiers
I guess we've been wrong the whole time about Cam having a very low basketball IQ. He just has a very low IQ, period.
Depends on how good you are. But I always find it funny when celebrities start whining about what they're asked to do (like lose weight) and how they get no privacy.
They've thought for years they'd be NBA stars making buttloads of money and surrounded by hot women. Cam is following that dream. Might not last if he's not careful, though.
Well, if he put his head down and work on improving his game, what he is making will just be his pocket change in the future. But if he thinks he's already good enough, he can be broke before he's 25 years hold.
Nope, Ime is stubborn, he doesn't play offense only players unless he has to.....he is no Popovich who figured out to let Manu be Manu and the Spurs were better for it. Ime is a pedantic coach, we shall see if he can actually lead a team to a ring, he needs to embrace a more balanced approach IMHO. DD
Looking at Braun last night has me down on the coach player relationship and development between Ime and Cam. Last year Braun sucked and was nearly unplayable. Denver had no bench , now look at him. He’s a vital part of Denver success and probably most improved player. Malone stayed patient and developed him. He does things similar to Cam. Gets out and run. That’s what Braun does essentially. you saw last night with our squad that even though we’re close to the top in fast break points, is int care what the stats say we’re a terrible team at executing fast breaks . Especially when we have the numbers. The decisionmaking and passing are horrible in those transition. And that’s probably because it’s always our lesser passers in Amen, Tari and Jabari leading those breaks. It would help if it was FavV or Jalen but they don’t really look for fast break opportunities. Honestly it feels like we’re not even pushing for fast breaks in transition like we used to earlier in the season. Cam can’t help with that but a lot of times even when Cam runs the ball handler can’t or jsut sucks at running with Cam. Fat break isn’t about athleticism. It’s jsut about speed and decision making and execution. OKC does it well and they don’t have the athletes we do. I don’t know, but my rant is over. Insult get frustrated with this team and fast break. It’s better now than the Silas years but Stone has to go out and get some basketball minds. Some high iq players who can also pass. We need a Denji Adjica, or Levert type. Essentially a really glue guy like Iggy or what we had in Luc during D’Antoni years. We only really have that with FVV and his age and size limits him inthat role. Tate showcases it sometimes but Ime don’t utilize him for his offense but he’s one of our best handlers in transition. I wouldn’t be surprise to see Tate alary of a team’s main rotation next year. I always thought he was better than Grant Williams
