I am a fan of Ime and even I have to 100% agree with you.

No excuses for a quarter like that, especially when we have a deep roster like this to tinker with

Like I said he shot bad but everything else was really really good. You can say his shooting was awful. But as a whole he played well. 10 assists and 0 turnovers. Shoulda been like 15 assists but Fred couldn't throw it into the ocean.

It's not just Deandre Jordan they doubling him when he makes a move with the guard. He's making the correct read. Probably 3 or 4 shots he shoulda made but it's basketball it happens.

Alpi was 2/7 at the point I made that post … FVV was 0/3 … you going to sit here and act like Alpi only missed 1 fadeaway jumper

Zero fast break points, 34 ish percent from 3 and 67 ish percent from free throw line will not get it done against almost any NBA teams.

It doesn't matter how good the defence is if the offence is that bad (for example see: Orlando Magic)

People b****ing at Green is just crazy. He didn't play well, like so many today, but he scored 30 points.

denver also beat rockets at their own game. 2nd chance points and fast break pts.

amen looked TERRIBLE on his fast break. that's not him at all. still adjusting from coming back from injury i guess.

    No it makes sense

His defense & play making ability has improved very well

35 % from 3 could be better but it's not horrible

Every player on this team has flaws, but Ime has managed this team in position for the 2nd seed in the tougher conference

Singling out Jalen is just individual hate at this point

Fred is Ime’s crutch. He is not worth the amount of money he makes to have good games every once in a while.

Jalen had some really good looks he just missed. He went from pretty efficient at half to a poor shooting night in the 2nd half, but he turned up the aggression and drew a ton of fouls.

It isnt on green, nor sengun even tho it hurt my soul seeing him airball a ft in the clutch.

We won the rebound battle, the offensive glass battle, won the turnover battle but just lost the efficiency battle tonight.

Would have loved to seen more jabari and tari and less fred tonight. Thats my only gripe.

We lost because we came out flat in the 3rd.

He had 5 assists. As a whole he played well? You mean when Denver decided to hunt him on every single possession down the stretch? When Jamal Murray was cooking him 1v1? This **** happened with Jaylen Brown too, its not a coincidence.

A lot of his free throws were also bail outs from the refs. That last three was not a foul in any other game. Horrible ref job.

If Tari starts I don’t think the Rockets end up with zero fast break points.

Ok what about FVV's bricks? Yeah Jalen missed his share of shots but when Ime took him out Denver lead just increased instead of decreased.

again hyper focusing on Jalen when he had an efficient game is just wrong analysis.

Amen and FVV deserve more blame than Jalen. Udoka deserves the most blame of all.

I think I criticize Green's short comings fairly. His float game and middie game when wide open is hurting his potential big time because teams don't fear drop coverage because they fear his finishing at the rim over wide open floaters and mid range shots.

Denver was hunting him the entire game for iso matchups. If his offense was "meh" then his defense was a disaster. He shot 36.4% from the field and less than 30% from the three point line. You can't seriously be using his free throws as a defense for his lackluster shooting especially when the ref gave him three free ones at the end of the game. Assists are good but he isn't taking the ball up the court the majority of the game (Fred is)

It wasn't just the fourth quarter that Denver was hunting him. If you watched early on Jamal Murray was targetting him from the start.

    freddy is doo doo.

what else do you want me to say? i don't care about freddy because he's not part of rockets' future.

when he's good, great. when he's doo doo, he's doo doo. he's already a finished product.

Typical post big game from FVV … he comes out shooting like he’s the number 1-2 option on the team and game is a stinker

You probably responded to wrong post cuz I was talking about Sengun. Jalen was very on off today. But I don't blame either of them for the loss. Just look at Fred VanVleets stat line. Why was he even in the game? Everyone else woulda got benched.

    Ime/FVV or Dusty/Maldy... I'll take the former 9 times out of 10.

Denver has forwards who can match his athleticism and size ( Watson, Porter Jr, Gordon) those teams always give us issues
