We need a draft replacement for Howard and trade Howard after June 1.

You are just all over the place with this OL business.

I don't like Howard. Highly overpaid in my eyes. I'd rather get rid of him than waste more money on him.

They just restructured his contract, which is generally not a sign they're wanting to get rid of a player.

At this point I sense that Nick isn't going to take an OL at 25. I think it's going to be DT or WR. If true, we can forget about Booker, Jackson, Zabel, etc.

I sense that I have no idea what Caserio will do in the draft...just like always.

His FO is a leak-free zone.

I wonder if Grant is back in play now? At one time he was the top DT prospect. Now he's down to 5th.

If you look at the roster, Guard is the position that the Texans have the shakiest talent. Cam is a one year band aid for Offensive tackle. Which tells me that the Texans will draft a Guard early and draft a Tackle in the third round that needs some time to develop. They need to draft a Guard that can start right away.

Banks would solve this issue. I'm thinking they think Howard is the LG.

You're probably correct but I wonder if Nick is thinking this patchwork of a line can work and will use our picks to surround CJ with weapons as well as acquire a couple of defensive depth pieces. We'll find out in a month!

Unfortunately, I believe Banks will be gone at 25. Donovan Jackson will probably be available. With that said, I'm intrigued at the idea of just loading up on weapons and forgetting about drafting OL IF it's ok with Stroud. This is obviously something that Nick should discuss with CJ beforehand, if he's thinking of doing such a thing.

Bank rarely reaches us at 25 or even close enough to trade up. Do you think the simulator is missing something? I keep seeing him go 10-15 range.

I honestly don't know what they're thinking. But I trust them more than I trust me when it comes to personnel choices. I certainly can't keep up with the games played this time of year with so much fake information generated because teams want a player to fall to them.

Banks is considered one of the best along with Membou and Will Campbell. I don't believe any will be available at 25. The other issue is even if Banks is available, will Nick pick him or will he give CJ his pick of receiver? I personally would pick Banks.

No I dont think anything is missing. I've got Banks going 1-10 to the Bears to be their LT and their OL rebuild is complete.

I wouldn't hate using 2 of our 1st 4 picks on WR and TE if the board makes sense. Think you could still take a potential OG/OC to compete with Patterson/Scruggs late and grab a few development OTs that could slide down to OG in case of emergency in the 3rd/5th rounds. More teams should follow the Eagles model of not even necessarily BPA, but identifying and securing players at positions that are strengths in the draft early before the falloff happens.
