It was just a matter of when St. Johns would meet a team they could not overwhelm athletically. Their offense is painful and just doesn't have nearly enough skill.

RJ Luis today reminds me of what Dillon Brooks was for Oregon his last 2 years when he failed badly in both games they lost in the NCAA tournament.

 

Yep, I had them losing this round but to Kansas instead of Arky

UConn was very close to an upset over Florida, let it slip away..

Also, #1 seeds getting 2nd round matchups with UConn, Creighton, Gonzaga and Baylor is a rough draw.

as much as i dislike baylor, the refs are mad favoring Duke.

I noticed this as well. I hope UH gets a fair game with them in the Final Four, should it happen.

 

Duke made short work of Baylor. Wasn't even competitive.

 

Illinois has a couple of Euros with some pretty serious game.

The big PG, Jakucionis, is very intriguing for us.

So far, "seems" like fewer upsets than most years.

 

Yes and the first weekend seemed more boring and less dramatic than previous years. Hopefully next weekend is much better.

 

I think Arizona could surprise Duke. Any thoughts?
