I end up picking Warren, and as the top OL prospects start flying off the board, I start to picture the sports media and fans ranting about the Texans passing on their biggest need. The best OL draftees were right there, and they took a TE instead. I can just imagine the Booker, Banks, Zabel, and Jackson watch threads popping up, turning into a whole messy debate.

I have no idea what they'd have to give to trade up for Warren, but I'm absolutely not against the idea.

Might as well go big and trade up for Tyler Warren. :p

That would be fun actually. Either way, I'm good though. We have lots of options to choose from even without trading up.

Nah, these guys are close enough and have potential to improve to the point that there's no reason to move up. IMHO

Loveland was rated ahead of Warren before the season and had terrible QB play then hurt his shoulder, so he's fallen behind Warren. But Loveland is a real talent. I've had Taylor as a high 2nd rd guy for a while now. Big time player with great blood lines. I would be very happy with either one of these guys at 1-25.

If you want to get really fun with the offense, and various formations/schemes, you could, in addition to a real TE, draft the guy out of Bowling Green (not a blocker, great receiver) in the mid rounds.

I like Loveland and Taylor as well, but believe Loveland doesn't make it passed the Chargers at #22. Taylor could be a Rd 2 target.

Ole Miss occasionally lined up WR Tre Harris at the TE spot. He's an interesting prospect. Of course, we need an innovative OC to draw up this stuff.

I'm quite hopeful we got one, finally.

We can get quality players with each of our first 5 picks. I'm against giving them up in a trade-up simply because we need all 5 of those picks.

Yeah, difference is I really like Taylor a lot and he probably wont make it to 2-58, so I would pick Taylor at 1-25 or try to trade down and take him at the top of the 2nd as well as getting more draft capital from trading down.

I could see this. I also could see Caserio drafting a TE/WR in rds 1-2.

Love that 3rd pick. He’s not getting a ton of hype for some reason.

I like Savion Williams at 100+

    That seems like a bargain.

No, we NEED a WR and DT and I'm good! Would like a RB and a OG but everything else is icing on the cake

Definitely need another offensive lineman in the top 3 rounds. The offensive line is bottom tier, and those free agents aren't going to move us to a top tier line. We need some muscle. It needs more of a boost than defense, that's for sure. CJ needs more protection. I wouldn't mind a RB in later rounds, but definitely need a WR in top 3 rounds. We have to look to the future with cheap prospects, especially with CJ and Anderson's contracts down the road. They will be highly paid.
