Saying a religious group isn't compatible with America is pretty disgusting and bigoted. It's also a silly argument with no emotional argument needed to counter it. None of the Abrahamic religions are "compatible" with the American Constitution if those religious laws were enforced. It's a stupid argument at face value.

I mean replace Islam with "Judaism" and ask yourself if it sounds bigoted. "Judaism isn't compatible with American democracy". I personally would believe anyone who expressed that opinion is a raging antisemite.

Of course it is. He has the money to live anywhere and chose to move from Texas to Jordan to specifically be closer to his faith. His sensibilities better align there and he's level headed enough to understand that.

Not all religions are the same and this can be seen from behavioral observation. Random Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus aren't killing Salwan Momika or stabbing Salman Rushdie's eyes out for microaggressions . We see it in the actions time and time again. In muslim countries, you have actual genocides going on of non believers for the implicit reason of being non believers

But because the perpetrators are brown, they are still victims. Who cares about the 500,000 dead in Syria. It's an ideology that isn't compatible with Western values, progress and civilized debate. If you like the money of the West, play by the rules of the West, not Sharia crap while preying on gullible participants like yourself.

 

The left also uses the umbrella term migrant to mask that not all migrant groups are the same. Kind of like they group illegal immigrants with legal immigrants. It allows them to cover the fact that Japanese migrants don't create political problems in a power quest or consistently act out in violence (+ are super successful) while incompatible ideologies do. You are free to have whatever faith you want but if your actions are consistently toxic the civilized world has a right to notice.

 

Arguing that “his sensibilities better align there” is a much softer, and more reasonable, stance than your original statement that his beliefs are “incompatible” with our society.

 

Funniest part about this is American conservative right wing evangelicals and conservative Muslims have very similar views on things like gender hierarchies where men are above women in said hierarchy.
