Amen disrupted the Rockets’ system tonight, and with Amen and Sengun on the floor at the same time, Green has no room to penetrate at all.
This kind of team would struggle with shooting, but would be great on defense. Against a zone, the final score of the games would be around 38-36
well compare apples to apples. the opponent should be 5 of the same player as well 5 Amens vs 5 Alpis vs 5 JGs
I’m higher on Green than most, but I absolutely agree. It’s becoming apparent that this will be Sengun and Amen’s team IMO.
I'm lower on Green than most. I don't know how good Green would be in a 5-out offense with a rim protector. As much as Sengun and Green get along off the court, I think they would be better with others on the court.
They'd have to do a UNLV/Arkansas "40 Minutes of Hell" full court press and run all game long. Would need a few more Amens for that, though. Also...this thread aged quite well.
OP knows ball. The past few games just proved that the spacing is really terrible when Amen is one of the starting 5. Tari, on the other hand, is the key for Rockets' recent winnings.
