Desantis seeks to punish Disney for disagreeing with him

Imagine focusing so much attention on crap that is so meaningless. They spend half their time mocking gays and Disney movies like elementary school kids who still watch cartoons. These are grown men with the mentality of kids growing up with gay bashers as parents. The cycle continues with their kids I would guess. Folks outraged over stuff that is so meaningless in the perspective of the things this country needs addressing. Affordable healthcare, gun violence, climate change, and civil rights are on the bottom of their list, with Disney on top. You can't make this sh*t up.

Taxation and infringement on individual liberty are at the top of my list. Healthcare, gun violence, climate change and "civil rights" (read: favoritism based on race, gender, etc.) are not on the list.

 

I wasn't talking about civil rights favoritism. I was talking about civil rights discrimination and injustice.

Nope. You are obviously talking about something different than I am. I'm talking about racism and discrimination in justice, prosecutions, hiring, etc.., and equal opportunity, rights, and justice. Aren't you a prosecutor? I hope you don't consider all that stuff nonsense, or simply the new term used by Republicans as "DEI" in all cases. Discrimination and racism still exists, and you of all people should know that.

Honestly, I've never heard anyone in person whine about Disney movies before. It's an obsession with two grown men in here though, which I find weird.

 

Proving you live in a bubble. Braindead corporations = bad and that is a universal issue. It's dishonest to demonize the people that point it out. You'd get angry at a petrochemical company for dumping toxic waste in the pond behind your house.

 

I'm not big on corporations at all. There's a big difference in companies poisoning and sickening people and killing them though compared to outrage over what characters Disney puts in movies, and posting memes mocking people who are gay. If you don't see the difference in what really harms people, lies toxins and pollutants in air and water vs cartoons we think differently.
