My 7 year old still uses one in the car but not the truck. She is super tall but not 4'9" yet. She rides in the car 99% of the time.

Lol, no. I mean that's the 'close enough' level I had set.

Different times for sure. I remember riding my bike with my friend around the neighborhood when I was 5. I would be out on my own and my grandma was cool with it. And this was in the "hood". It's weird how times have changed. Don't think I can do that with my girl and I live in a ****ing sheltered neighborhood with a bunch of people that are afraid of a loud popping sound. Lol.

Trip is coming to a close, it all worked out. But we did miss the game last night because tickets were too expensive for 8.

Disney today and tomorrow and then I am going back into CF hibernation until my next vacation.

My favorite booster seat was a 70's Bronco/Chevy with a 6x6ish 2-seat enclosed but open top roof rack, about 15 feet off the ground, that we used at the deer lease around Bracketville when I was a kid.

It had a redneck contraption going from the driver's seat to upstairs where you could drive and steer it from the top. We were never allowed to do that as kids.

My other favorite was a 2-seat rack in the back of the Willy's that we'd use when quail hunting. Much lower to the ground and easier in-and-out

Conservatively, at least until they’re off the family insurance at 26.
