Because the algorithms recommended these, not the same but similar, I've started watching a few: Maniac High-Rise Counterpart
The egg party is coveted as ****. I loved this show. Agree with others that I haven't been this engrossed in a television mystery since Lost. I can't wait to see what they do with season two. Spoiler Helly's father's comment about his "revolving" is so interesting to me. Others have pointed out that the colors on MDR's computer screens correspond with the Eagan's "tempers" so perhaps "revolving" is some sort of consciousness after death?
Spoiler I'm wondering, since the only presence we've seen of the "board" is via audio over a speaker, if somehow all the prior Eagens have had their consciousness uploaded to some kind of server, or something. Maybe revolving is the moving of Helly's dad's consciousness out of the world and into that system?
I recently watched this for the first time and I loved it. After reading the fan wiki page, I’m going to go back and watch it again. A few things kind of went right past me without me noticing. I absolutely love the humor in this show. Milchic is hilarious. Dylan is good also. 5he entire cast really is very good. Sounds like season 2 is coming sometime this year, and I can’t wait. That was a hell of a cliffhanger at the end of season one.
That's crazy. If it's going to be a show similar to the first season, I don't understand how its possible. I seem to remember mostly just people standing around in an office. It was the story that was gripping, not special effects. How can it cost more than a GoT episode? I am perplexed and actually kind of worried that the tone of the show will change.
Explanation is buried in this article https://www.bloomberg.com/news/news...n-in-hollywood-spending-after-years-of-losses Made no sense to me either
OK So I am not the only one I guess I will push through it is failing me so far I think I am 4 episodes in Rocket River
Honestly, season 1 is a slow burn at first, it picks up towards the last few. I really liked it but I can see how it's not for everyone. I do think if you push through you will enjoy it, but maybe not, who is to say? I think it's a great show, but different strokes for different folks.
good show but I find it hard to look past some of the hand-waved away logical flaws what the innies do or don't know seems arbitrary. They don't know their identities, but they know other things like the English language and how to use a computer. And even if the outie is getting sleep, the innie would still go insane doing that work continuously with only small breaks.
It's got flaws but you can literally do that to any show. I had to stop myself from doing the same because you can ruin any show that way
Nice finale. So many crumbs for next season to pick up, Ben Stiller does a lot of camera tricks. Some work. Some are distracting.
Spoiler I was very disappointed in the finale. Like the S1 finale, there was no closure; it was a cliffhanger (which I despise) with some breadcrumbs for S3. Except for episode 4, most of S2 moved too slow for me and almost became laborious and boring. If it takes 3 years again for the next season, I probably won't care enough to watch.
