Briarcliff Entertainment has released the trailer for the Jonathan Majors-led dark drama “Magazine Dreams”.

Elijah Bynum penned and directed the feature in which Majors plays a troubled amateur bodybuilder named Killian Maddox who is willing to go to any lengths to be noticed.

As things continue to go wrong, Maddox’s obsession with being the best pushes him to the absolute limit. while also gradually isolating himself from the rest of the world.

Majors famously ate over 6,000 daily calories and conducted endless workouts that got his bench press up to 340 pounds to play an amateur and socially awkward bodybuilder with anger management issues.

Reviews out of Sundance 2023 were universal raves for his performance in the film, which drew many comparisons to “Taxi Driver”. A few months later, Majors’ personal life, including a misdemeanour assault conviction, derailed his career and the film’s release plans.

Two years later, the film is finally getting a theatrical release on March 21st. Haley Bennett, Harrison Page, Taylour Paige, Michael O’Hearn, and Harriet Sansom Harris co-star.

He's seems almost too intense, to the point of being unbalanced.

A lot of famous actors fit that description and also serves as their unspoken draw.

Christian Bale or Russell Crowe comes to mind,

Does Jonathan Majors cite those two as inspirations for his "method" of acting?
