I'm replacing the charging receptacle on my golf cart, and the new part has a type of wire I don't recall seeing on the cart. It could be because it's covered with heat shrink. (The old part on the cart) I think it is heat shrink covering the connection. Can anyone identify this wire? Specifically, the one shown in pic 3, is it a type of plug-in connector? Thanks
I had to replace a 12v cigarette lighter adapter in my car which I think had the same thing, I think. The plastic is a insulating cover that you slide back. The "connector" is just a couple of "wings" that curl up and around. You put a loose, stripped wire into and bend over the wings to hold the wire in place. Closeup attached from a amazon listing. Not 100% but that's what it looks like to me and that's a pretty standard wire connector setup
I appreciate your input. I was thinking along the same lines and just wanted some other opinions in case I needed to grab a few things on the way home.
