McNeese St might be the first upset of the tournament

Great job dominating a game you're supposed to dominate.

So, Coogs have (at least) one main player injured/hobbled ??

THAT will, sadly, likely be our demise -- just like last season with Shead. Duke doesn't win that game if Jamal finishes.

Yes, I'm pessimistic. Houston's sports history has influenced my outlook.

Regardless, I'm still here cheering for everything inside Beltway 8.

I am a little surprised at how BYU is handling VCU so far

This is one of those "toss up" games that wasn't a toss up. Georgia was incredibly middling all season.

Georgia is athletic but also sloppy. I haven't even seen Gonzaga this year I just assume they are well coached as always, and even in a slight down year (for them) can be a tough out.

Yep, you nailed it. Zags also have Nembhard to run the offense, who has been their starting PG for seemingly 6 years now.

    Houston -5.5 over Zags.

Zags got a really rough draw round 2. Could've pulled an upset with almost any team that wasn't Houston. This team is out for blood.

    Kansas should try the AAC

They could build a nice rivalry with Memphis

Glad Kansas is going home. Did not want to play them AGAIN.

Actually, I am also done with Arizona, BYU, and Texas Tech. Want them to go away as well.

You know what I "really" mean. When you have "survived" a season in the Big12, you don't want to keep playing the same teams over and over. They know you well and you are fighting against not only them but the law of averages. The only teams that we have played that I would want to see again are Auburn and Alabama. Bring them on.
