When Jimbo was there the culture was terrible.

True, but if the Texans could add a dominant DT to put with WA/Hunter this defense would be awesome. Doesn't have to be a 1st rd pick. Alexander is my guy.

    I would give up a 2026 1st for this.

Loveland and Collins are as good as anybody you could draft in 2026. Plus you would save money to sign CJ/WA next offseason because you wouldn't have to pay a 1st rd pick. You would still have a couple of 2nd rd picks for Caserio to work with.

Isn’t that Teslaa kid fit this mold. Just really raw, which is fine since we have 2 other good receivers he doesn’t need to shine immediately.

I like Golden, but I don't believe that he is an elite receiver worthy of us giving up capitol to pick.

I think that Walter Nolan and Kelvin Banks are ELITE. I believe that we should take one of them at #25 if available. If both are available I prefer Banks because the OL is our greatest need.

I don't believe that we should pass on them to take Golden or Egbuka, who are good but not elite.

Savion Williams, TesLaa, Ayomanor, Bech are guys that fit this criteria.

Agreed, and some will disagree with me, but how much difference is there between Golden and Noel? Noel can probably be drafted in the 2nd rd.

Banks/Loveland/Nolan are studs that are very worthy of 1-25.

I'm picking Bech either 79 or 89 depending on who else is there. But he sometimes goes off before 79. Higgins is usually gone by 79.

But I'd love to feel comfortable just taking Best Player Available rather than drafting for need.

want a short yardage back. Dylan Sampson would be perfect. converted 33 of 36 short yardage attempts last year.

I'd look at it a little differently...
Tier 1: Loveland, Banks, Zabel, Golden
Tier 2: Egbuka, Emmanwori S/LB, Jihaad Campbell (too good for Cap to pass)
Tier 3: Booker (Not my guy, but Cap loves some Bama leaders), Harmon, Grant, Nolen, Simmons
