It's tough changing teams and systems in mid-season. I wasn't rooting for this signing, but he was best LT left on market. Ensures we're covered at LT, RT and swing T before the draft, that I like. Looks like $2.5m in incentives, so he should hopefully be motivated and its one year deal. Solid signing ( I hope ).

Robinson isn't as bad as it looks. It's difficult being an OL and getting traded mid season. Continuity is a big thing. Judge him by his Jags stats.
cam robinson has only ever played LT in the NFL, also we paid him left tackle money, not guard money.

The line has to be rebuilt. It's not going to be a one year fix. I see Nick doing what he did with a lot of the rest of the team. Get rid of some of the contracts that were limiting what we could do. Sign some vets to one year deals. Draft some prospects. Invest in free agency when the time is right and we have cap space. I'm interested to see where this goes. I do not view Caserio with a fixed mindset like some of you do. He's aware of problems with the line and the personnel decisions that led to those problems. He's had enough success elsewhere that I trust that the Texans will analyze what went wrong and make adjustments accordingly. Believe it or not, people do learn from their mistakes. If his talent evaluation was awful across the board then I might feel otherwise. But I trust that they won't simply do the same things they did before.
Caserio will probably try to add one impact OL through the draft. With the other signings and better coaching the OL if healthy should be better next year.
